Recommended by my parents who visit this area regularly but hadn't actually been in, it's in a fantastic location, has a car park and food was great. We had Sunday roasts and they were delicious! Service was pretty good for a pub - highly recommend!

Had a great Sunday lunch here with friends. Three of us opted for roasts and one had fish and chips. Meat was beautifully cooked and veggies all fresh, fish and chips had crispy batter and decent size piece of haddock. Wasn't a huge dessert menu but all home made and delicious, two sticky puddings and brownie and a crumble all hit the spot in fact could have eaten another one! Service was very attentive and friendly and food came quickly. Price was reasonable and I think was good value for the food served. The place has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the toilets were very clean.

The most delicious vegan roast dinner - you could tell all the food was homemade and cooked fresh.
The Yorkshire puddings were enormous and the portion sizes substantial. The mushroom, bean and kale wellington was delicious and I would highly recommend it.

Came here for dinner on a Monday night. Friendly staff, good service and decent food for a decent price. Could do with a few more veggie options, though.

If April's showers brought May flowers, what did Mayflower bring? Pilgrims.
Apparently this Mayflower doesn't reference the famous ship but relates to a more recent lightship from the area.
It's quite a big place near the marina, with a large garden to sit outside when the weather is favourable. Inside, the pub has a good vibe and the service was nice and quick when we went there. It was a welcome stop after a long walk.

Fantastic location next to the Marina. Room pleasant enough, if a little gloomy light-wise; very comfy bed, shower and bathroom absolutely fine. Friendly and attentive staff, food very good.

Pros: Big bed & bathroom. Service good & breakfast fine. Near yacht club.
Cons: trying to be a boutique hotel and failing. Over priced for what it is.
20 mins walk to Lymington Quay.
Other than breakfast food is mediocre, like many pub chains

Has a lovely dinner here, Fish and Chips and the Burger. Good service, quick and easy. The food tasted very nice and was reasonably priced

This is a great pub with boutique rooms. Very convenient for the sailing clubs, which were our focus for our weekend visit. My only minor concern was that breakfast started a few minutes late and we weren't even able to wait in the restaurant area, but had to leave the hotel by the residents entrance and re-enter from the rear of the pub. Not a problem for us, as the weather was fine, but still a minor irritation. Overall, I can highly recommend staying here and we plan a return visit next year.

Met friends for lunch early in the week and loved it so much we came back later in the week. Food was superb (and great gluten free awareness), beer was great and the service was brilliant. We will definitely visit next time we are in the area. We would recommend it very highly!
