Tea Total Lyndhust

Took a side trip when visiting with a friend in Reading. Stumbled upon this cute tea shop at the corner of the main intersection in Lyndhurst. Very long list of tea options and scones & Crumpets along with some sandwiches and bagels. The seating has some regular table options and couch and armchairs with coffee tables. I had a nice Nutella flavored hot chocolate and a "Hawaiian Crumpet". My hot chocolate was delicious and the right temperature and really tasted great. My friends thought my choice of Hawaiian Crumpet was odd, yet I really was satisfied with the combination of sweet pineapple and salty ham with cheese. The red pepper chutney permeated the chutney and made the whole thing come together. Nice friendly service at the counter. A nice quiet place to have a quick bite.

With two vegans and a dairy intolerant as part of our family group, sometimes going out can be a little complicated. Not here however, everyone has something they can thoroughly enjoy without feeling they are missing out. The cream tea, vegan chocolate cake and vegan crumble were all delicious. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. We'll definitely be returning.

Wonderfully well decorated and set out with a plethora of different great tasting teas all with interesting names. The staff were really friendly and gave a warm welcome. I don't normally give reviews in fact this my first but I HIGHLY recommend this tea house. The were even opened late (on a Friday 9.30pm) as a trial run. I have no doubt it will be a hit evening gem. Whenever I come to this part of the country I will certainly come every time. Easiest 5 stars.
