Dolce Vita

We visited on a Sunday evening. Service was prompt and friendly. The menu had a lot of options, and most of the mains came with fries, salad or veg as a side. The only minor criticisms are that both of our mains (veal and chicken) had a little too much sauce and the dessert options were quite limited. However, we enjoyed the meal overall.

We had a very nice meal here tonight. It was early and we popped in on the the off chance that we could be seated as we had been travelling around most of the day. We were greeted warmly and enjoyed a pizza each and my husband had a panna cotta which we all ended up enjoying too!! All in all, a great family-friendly restaurant.

Spending a weekend away, we came across this restaurant purely by chance and booked for a Saturday evening. Greeted warmly, we were shown to our table and found the restaurant to be stylish, beautifully presented, modern and full of atmosphere, with a constant flow of diners livening the atmosphere as the place filled up. The menu was, well, typically Italian, (isn't that why you go there) and although portion size was a little 'suspect', the quality and flavour more than made up for this and my wife and I enjoyed some of the best food and service that we've had anywhere, with our respective pasta sauces, (bolognaise and al salmone), beyond excellent. Staff were super friendly, service was outstanding, the food was heavenly and we had a wonderful evening, but the test of any restaurant relates to whether we'd return and on this occasion, the answer is, in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!!
