Popped in for a drink with the girls on my uni course when we visited the town for some studying on Wednesday. Staff in the pub were phenomenal, super friendly and helpful. The basket in the ladies toilet honestly sets this pub apart from any other ive been in and was a really nice touch. Will definitely be back again when I'm next in the area!

I ate here at lunch time but I'm sure the atmosphere isn't how it would be in the evening. The food was really good. I had a burger which was cooked really well. The lunchtime wraps look very good. Generally a really nice pub!

A good example of a Chef and Brewer pub with their standard menu. There is plenty of seating inside and out without being crammed together.
The staff were very helpful and friendly 🙂. The food was up to C & B standards, we had the steak ciabatta to compare to the Red Lion in Avebury and the Cold Harbour in Swindon, and it was as good as any 😁.

The food was excellent. The chips were so delicious. Great slight crunch on the outside and thick and soft inside. The schnitzel was pleasant. A slight pinch of salt would have been better, but there was salt and pepper on the table.
The staff was nice. The seating area was also very nice too.

What a find. Finding space for 5 and two dogs for Sunday lunch and seeing owtons meat on the menu gave a good feeling. The Sunday lunch was amazing. Meat melted in the mouth, cauliflower cheese absolutely delicious and the rest of the veg perfectly cooked and presented. Topped off with a delicious bottle of red and superb service. With the big public car park behind just perfect.

Could improve on the food quantity because the salad were good but not enough for the price we spent.
Other food was in good quantity so it went well but salads with nice quantity would have been even better.
Overall a good experience.

Fantastic roast dinner, even extra gravy was provided which was great. Service was fantastic and they do welcome dogs, just remember to mention you have a dog and they will seat you accordingly.
