Mickey's Bar And Grill

My sister and I visited the bar on a Saturday night and had a lot of fun. They played a mixture of music which awesome since there were different groups of people there. We felt welcomed and comfortable compared to other bars in the area (where we sometimes get stares because we're black and Latina). The drinks were good and the food was even better. We got blue LITs and they were delicious. The quesadillas were amazing! Prices are fair. Lots of TVs and ample seating. We'd visit again.

So the girls and I got together to sing karaoke and play some games. When I got there I parked in the plaza parking lot. I walked in and the place was crowded. We had our own private room. Our server was Lindsey and she was great. I had a LIT with pineapple and it was good. The karaoke singing was so fun. The place also served wings and penne vodka. We pretty much closed the place. It was a good time.

Wow! These wings are ridiculously good. Tried different flavors bit be warned - if you try the Ludicrous sauce order a pitcher of water. The red mussels were flavorful just the right amount of spice and accompanied by fresh garlic toast. Will definately come back sooner than later. The bartender Renee is very attentive and super sweet!

The very last place I went out to eat before covid was Mickeys so it’s been some time since I’ve been but great food and amazing staff as always. They have this small off to the side party room and they’ve always been kind enough to allow us to rent it for events (political) even if they didn’t agree with us. Really a great local business and great people run it! Plus this time went went the bartender was amazing! She tended the whole bar by herself and tables on a Sunday afternoon. Besides the food is always great and a huge selection of wing choices! Mickeys is really everything you want in a local neighborhood bar except their parking lot is always full which is no issue of their own.

I was looking to see the Canelo vs Bivol fight and the whole bar was karaoke. Not really a sports bar. Luckily I found The Liberty Sports Bar in the Meadowlands at the race track, Its sports betting but everything was free and they really have all sports and giant screens. I'm not saying that I don't like this place.
