Yuck!!!! On so many levels. Don’t be deceived by the appearance. Food is horrible. Rice not properly cooked, its like eating an uncooked bowl of steel-cut oatmeal. The brown sauce is too salty..worst of all, broccoli tasted fresh...not even steamed. Tried it for the first time based on some good reviews. Went with the lunch special and got a wonton soup instead of soda. I seriously regret ordering from here. Went straight to the garbage. Yuck!!!!! No stars for this one.

Can I leave negative stars? The food is good. 3 star quality but the service horrible! And don't make the mistake of ordering delivery. The delivery guy has very little patience and barely speaks or understand me English. So good luck giving directions. The first time I ordered delivery I walked a block and half to find the guy at 11am and pick up food. Then second time, I walked 2 blocks and then was yelled at by the driver. His exact words... "don't order food from here again" and when I ask his name drives away! Minivian with NY plates GDP 1945

Absolutely amazing!! Since moving back to North Arlington about ten yrs ago it had been a never ending quest to lock down a solid chinese restaurant... until now. I ordered from this place by mistake thinking it was another one, best wrong decision of the decade! The food is great, they are not skimping on the quality of ingredients. The price point is a little higher but not outrageous you get what you pay for, if you want cheap chinese then you have your pick because that's the majority around. The staff is fantastic, super friendly and accommodating. The delivery is suuuuuuper fast, always arrives earlier than expected. These folks have the formula down on running a proper restaurant, you have gained a loyal patron for life!! If you haven't gather from this review I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment!

I was in the mood for Chinese takeout and I was having trouble finding an open restaurant nearby. I took my chances and ordered for pickup. I have to say I’m extremely disappointed. Everything we ordered was EXTREMELY bland. We ended up throwing out most of the food. My recommendation: go elsewhere. Oriental Garden is better.

I am a fan of their chicken and broccoli with white rice! We've all been and tried chinese resturant takeouts but New No.1 Kitchen by far has the best chicken and broccoli. Try the chicken on the stick, its great! Friendly staff, clean store which is a plus and overall fresh food.
