Great beer and realistic prices. Nice small and friendly pub.
Proper local on edge of town. Multi room incl Pool and Darts room. Had a lovely pint of Marston's Pedigree. Good locals vibe with 1980's classics on the speakers. Worth a few minutes walk down Chestergate to find.

Great local pub with heaps of original character, and 5 cask ales. Generic ales (Blacksheep, Tetley's, etc) but very well kept. Lovely chilled atmosphere. Worth the walk across town! Very dog friendly too.
18/11/23: not a bad boozer, some good craft ale/craft beer on tap!
