We visited tonight for the first time since the refurbishment and had a lovely meal.
We were made to feel very welcome upon our entrance, service was quick, friendly, all of the waiters we're very attentive and the restaurant looks great.
We ordered a prawn and a mushroom puri which were both the best we've ever had.
The mains were fantastic, as was the Naan bread. We had more than enough to take home for tomorrow.
Very long review, but you must visit.

I visited The Bay Leaf yesterday evening with my friends. We are not local to the area and we stumbled across this lovely venue accidentally after a long walk. We were greeted by friendly, smiley staff who came to take our order promptly. There was a good, extensive menu - something for everyone! The food came and was absolutely delicious. Very filling and very satisfying. We were given a complimentary glass of Bailey’s each after our meal which went down a treat! Will definitely be returning next time we are in Bollington - hopefully soon!

family went for the restaurant birthday anniversary night. Absolutely brilliant night, made you feel more than welcome. My first time there , my son is a regular customer.manager and staff so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Thanks everyone from all of us. See you soon

Had a superb meal here - the staff could not do enough for us. They made us feel very welcome and the food was excellent! Made our meal bespoke by putting mango into a ‘Butter Chicken’ delicious! Highly recommend - just wish this restaurant was down South - if we ever visit Bollington in the future, we will have no hesitation with dining at this restaurant again. 5 stars all round!

We'd read the reviews for the restaurant, so we were expecting good food, but we thought we'd probably be on our own on a very wet Tuesday evening at 6.30pm. How wrong we were....there were already quite a few people seated and the atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. By the time we left, the place was buzzing! The food and service was exceptional and we had such a lovely evening. Absolutely great place and can highly recommend 👌 thanks everyone and will see you again when we're back in the area.

I went with family for two celebrations. The restaurant was air conditioned light and airy. The staff were welcoming and friendly nothing was too much trouble. The food was fresh,tasty and brought to the table within a short time. The drinks 🍸 menu was good and included a zero alcohol beer. My family all enjoyed it thoroughly and would recommend the Bayleaf Indian Restaurant to everyone.

Food is always top notch whether having a take away or sitting in. Staff are always very friendly. Much prefer the Bayleaf to the Viceroy.

Finished ?. Was excellent when it opened, but tonight's takeaway was the worst meal we have had for a long time. No flavour, sauces were floury and watery, the korma was just a couple of pieces of lamb in onion gravy, the chicken had not been marinated before cooking. The Peshwari nan was identical to the plain nana, and the Basmati rice sertainly was not Basmati ! The decline in standards has been evident for a year now, but the Bayleaf is surely on the edge of closure ? Macclesfield Sainsbury does a much better Indian food selection for less money. Forget the Bayleaf ... please !

Best Indian in Bollington. Great food, better quality than the other Indian down the road, have been going to the other place for years, have now defected. Great guys serving, very friendly.

Dont bother. I dont know were claire is coming from ive lived in this area all my life., been to alot of indian restaurant in the area i think bayleaf is the worst ive been too, the food is crap dosent go with the look, the best curry house in bollinton is viceroy , thats why its always packed. the amount of customers tells it all
