What a cracking pub! This is a proper, english pub with proper pub food, an open fire and great staff. It's also great value for money, and warm! We went in there on a wet Sunday afternoon with two dogs, and were made welcome. Drinks and …

Great dog friendly pub with large sunny outdoor area and dogs allowed inside also. Food was tasty but service a little slow, although it was a busy sunny day. Salmon was well cooked and burger beautifully seasoned.

Really friendly pub, extremely dog friendly and there’s some uke folk music in the next room. I’m stopping in the cottage, and failed to bring dog food with me, and the chef has kindly whipped up a doggy dinner for Teddy. Lovely place, would definitely stop by again!

A lovely end to a beautiful walk from one village to another, the waterfalls were simply worth the visit to see them and would recommend you walk to Rainow across the fields.
