Good pub, can get very busy when footballs on, will miss Pat the landlord when he goes in November, whoever takes it on has big shoes to fill!

Had some very nice panini for tea. Beer choice is Robinsons they had Dizzy Blonde Trooper and Unicorn. Both sports matches shown yesterday Sunday. Prices were reasonable.

Nice relaxed and welcoming pub with a bit of everything. They have nice food on their menu, and a beer garden for the summer. There are a couple of televisions for football and other sports and a pool table.

Visited this s pub whilst on an away day to see Tranmere play Macclesfield. Pub is 1mile from the ground and I was able to park easily outside.
The pub was welcoming with friendly staff. Decor was excellant creating a pleasant environment to watch the early kickoff game.
Food was very good. I had the beer battered fish and chips which tasted fantastic.
Overall a great place to go to watch sport and eat. I would definitely come back here.

Called in last night one New Years Eve with friends and family. Met Patrick and his wife (I assume the new landlords) and they looked after us very well. Drinks are good value, smart decor and nice atmosphere. And for the kids, they enjoyed the pool table. Would definitely recommend. We will be back 👍

I rang the pub to check if was dog friendly, as I had been turned away by a garden centre quite close to the pub.
The staff confirmed that they welcome customers with dogs.
The reception myself, wife and our Jack Russell Max received from staff and customers was very welcoming, the service and quality of the food was very good, we have recommended the venue to friends, and will be returning with family, and of course we will be taking our dogs along for the ride.

Friendly staff, lovely decor and comfy furniture. Great beer and food plus pool and football... what more could you ask for?
