Can't review the food, as we only popped in for a quick drink between meetings. But, guy behind the bar (unsure whether he was the owner) was very friendly. The pub looks to be a very cosy, old fashioned (in a good way) place to spend time.

Well, I enjoyed my time here, and I’ll probably be back. The cheese, and onion pie was good even if it was split at one part (as can seen in one of these photos). Also the Guinness was good so, can’t complain much… it is a very charming place on the inside too (rather rustic), as I don’t usually take this many photographs… Edit, on second visit the pie was much better, though it seemed to take longer to make (probably a good thing though, really!)

A fine 17th century former coaching inn on the main high street of Prestbury village. Tastefully decorated to retain its historical charm. Comfortable and with a pleasant beer garden. Good range of gins and Robbies ales. Didn't eat but having looked at the menu I'm sure we will do so soon.

Fantastic place, I love pubs like this, please don't think about changing it. Staff lovely, extremely helpful and very sociable. Great range of drinks (sadly I was driving so on lemonade). Sat out in the beer garden in the sunshine, wonderfully mellow place.
