Touted as the best fish and chips in Macclesfield, which put high expectations on our visit.
Given the fact that most businesses are struggling financially and need as much support as possible, I recommend that anyone who wants good fish and chips keeps helping this venue. I was a bit snobby before, but realise that quality of food is disappearing and when they're gone, they don't come back.
If it is local to you and suits your tastes, then I highly recommend the place. However, I have had better fish and chips in the area (outside Altrincham FC if you're wondering).

Had the most amazing fish & chips, cooked to perfection. Lesley & the other lady are so lovely, the owner is also a gem. I rang up to say Thankyou. Honestly I'm so fussy with fish & chips, I've tried many places but these knock the others out the park. ( Louise) 🙂

Chips were great to eat even without the extra gravy. The cod was a bit small but I'm greedy. A very friendly couple served me, I'd definitely recommend

Decent chippy. Proprietor is well known and friendly. Not been for years but back in Macc for the day so tried it. It was good but not excellent, I suspect another day it would be better though.
