2nd time I've been here, 2nd time I've went to my room stuffed and happy .
Steak was amazing and my dessert was huge.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful especially Phoebe.
Hope to be working in area again .

We visit this pub a few times a year as it is mid way between where we live and the inlaws. The quality has been very variable but this time great food and service. Only marred as the tea/coffe & cake for £3.49 isn't sold there even though on the menu, were told it was a printing error! My father-in-law has said he will never return, we shall see. That said it shouldn't be on the menu if you do not sell it.

Had two meals here whilst staying in the attached Premier Inn. Dinner last night was great value, Hunters chicken which was delicious, and a gorgeous chocolate fondant dessert. Partner had a burger and chips and same dessert. Super friendly bar staff and waitress
Then breakfast this morning was full English which was cooked beautifully. Again a really busy but very happy to help chap.
Decor is nice, plenty of room between the tables so not on top of people etc. But the standout feature is the exceptionally friendly staff we encountered. We will most definitely be back 🙂

Fast service, nice décor.
Nice that dogs can be inside at the dinner table with you. They have a lovely dog station by the door, with a doggy menu and dog bowls/treats etc
Great selection of vegan items, pie, curry, burger, open sandwich… even a desert!

Came here after being massively let down by the hungry horse around the corner.
We just nipped in after still being hungry to grab some desserts.
The place is really cosy on the inside with plenty of off road parking. The decor is fantastic and really makes you feel at home.
I had the sharing dessert to myself and my girlfriend had the Eton mess, sadly there was no strawberry ice cream/sorbet available but it was still lovely without. We'll definitely be coming here again in future.
The service and staff were great!
We both thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the visit!

I was staying at the attached Premier Inn, great breakfast and I was surprisingly impressed with the quality of the food, I had my evening meal there too, quick service and nicely presented waiting staff could have been better but they were all polite

Overall decent family pub. Its perfect for cheap and cheerful meals and drinks for local residents and passers by between the Congleton/ Macclesfield route. I had the beef Sunday roast, the quality of food wasn't high but ok. There is now a pool table. Wheelchair friendly. Staff friendly.

Good range of food on the menu. Not many vegan options but the falafel salad is a safe bet! Price was good for the portion sizes, and one of the staff out their own play list on which had some absolutely great tunes! Good family vibes, they also have pub quizzes some evenings. The toilet floors are uncomfortably sticky, but hygiene of the place overall good.
