Wat can I say is that I've tried alot of steaks and this place was right up there with one of the nicest steaks I've tasted. Thanks for a lovely meal

Had a rump medium rare, great piece of meat to consume, bit slow on service in all fairness as it was fairly quiet, but the rump earnt a solid four stars all on its own!

We've visited the sister restaurant, Gatehouse Steakhouse, in Dolgellau previously, and were impressed enough to try out Meatpoint Restaurant.
We weren't disappointed, wonderful food and great service from the two, relatively young, front of house staff.
As this was a former cafe you don't quite get the same ambience as the Gatehouse, but definitely worth a visit.
