Plas Dolguog appealed to be class-apart with a strong character best suited for leisure. The site maintenance is impeccable. Friendly host. Good chance one falls in love with the place. The balcony views are beautiful. Love every bit of it ❤️
Recently refurbished Manor House style b&b with beautiful gardens. Stylish, comfy rooms, ours also had a great view. Staff very friendly, no fuss checking in/out, breakfast was great served in a beautiful room. Bar was also open with impromptu welsh folk jam on the go. Really great.
Plas Dolguog is an amazing bed and breakfast that my husband Pree and I always stop at for work and for vacation. The staff are so friendly and incredibly helpful. They answer quickly, they keep the rooms incredibly clean, with views of the mountains. The breakfast is so delicious and it's perfect every single time we go. They have juices and honey that's locally sourced and they take great care in maintaining the property. They are attentive to every question and every need and consistently take feedback to make this place a safe, family friendly, and incredibly comfortable stay.
We had a fabulous stay to celebrate our Ruby anniversary. The room was sumptious and the balcony views stunning. Rosie made sure we were well looked after with her friendly and engaging manner and conversation. Each day started off on the best footing with delicious breakfasts prepared by James.
We had an amazing stay here during Mach Comedy Festival. Breakfast was superb, with lots of delicious options for vegans. The hosts were also so warm and welcoming. Planning to stay here again for sure!
The hotel is located in a beautiful setting a short drive away from shops, restaurants, bars etc. However the Hotel bar is well stocked and the restaurant food is of a very good standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room we were in was spacious and comfortable but I have taken one star off as I felt the decor was a bit tired and there was a bath with a mixer shower. I have to say that I knew about the lack of a power shower when booking.
A beautiful, family run hotel in historic Machynlleth, great for exploring Mid-Wales. Well appointed, spacious rooms and friendly staff make it a lovely place to stay and my family enjoyed our break. Lovely grounds and river made for a peaceful pre breakfast stroll.
Great place to stay, what a little gem! Will be going back very soon, Tina and Anthony are really nice people and great hosts. This lovely place really helps you relax in beautiful surroundings and stunning views. Highly recommended.
Beautiful setting although not immediately obvious on approach. Cool quirky Grandma's garden. Good choice of food be wine reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Very clean. Suitable for all ages Will definitely visit again.
Lovely friendly welcoming, food fantastic and a lovely room. Just a shame I only stayed for one night and that was work related. Would love to go back when everything has reopened again and have a proper explore.
