Great staff, food and service, a decent locally sourced menu that's very affordable. A lovely pub with lots of things to do, whether it's enjoying a pint, having something to eat or playing pool, darts or skittles, lots of young and older locals with a great atmosphere throughout the week, the chef was excellent and personally made sure everyone having food was being catered for. Look forward to coming back!
Great little country pub. Loads of character and clean and tidy throughout. We didn't eat but the menu looked nice. Highly recommend.
Lovely quaint pub but full of atmosphere. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the bar service is quick and really first class. We went for the entertainment which was Great. Next time we visit we will have a meal which we have been told are great.
Good to find a late lunchtime pub happy to serve food. Best tuna sandwiches ever with overflowing flavoursome filling and excellent side salad at very reasonable cost.
The new licensees have turned the Chalk and Cheese into the pub we have always wanted. Never seen it so busy. Great atmosphere, great people. Now that the kitchen has finally been sorted, hoping for decent food, the beer is already good. We'll done Jack and partners.
Great little place off the beaten track but, service was great very nice bar man. Food was great, but limited menu, kids were hungry and we all enjoyed the meals thanks

The pub looks so much better and inviting since refurb, the guys are doing a fantastic job making the chalk and cheese a great place to go!
We stayed in the village on a short break and visited the Chalk & Cheese a few times. What a lovely pub it is; totally unpretentious, good food and drink and most importantly a really friendly welcome from the guys running it. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Nice sunny outside area good beer and food.
Had a most enjoyable meal and time here, everyone was friendly and the food was very tasty and very well priced. The meat is sourced locally (just near Yeovil), so can't complain about that!
