In short: Great (authentic) food, amazing service and fantastic ambience. We hopped into this place with zero expectations and were pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the staff, the tasty food (especially pizza). We’re so glad we came here as I’ve had one of my best Tiramisus in a while! I’d surely want to come back for the crème de catalana.

Kept walking past thinking god that smells good. Finally went for dinner and were blown away with how delicious the food was. This certainly is authentic and homemade. Great atmosphere for customers and such a lovely family vibe. Everyone was so friendly. Forget that well known pizza place a few doors down this is the best and where you should be spending your hard earned money. We'll certainly be back to try more, this visit we had the feta beetroot salad, Arancini and Pizza 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

The customer service was fantastic , lovely owners very friendly and welcoming.
The food was exceptionally good , and the desserts was out of this world.
4 of us ate there , we all ordered different dishes and was all very good.
I would highly recommend, cater for everyone , families , couples etc

The reviews brought us here and they didn't lie. We loved the food and wine and will be back. Homely atmosphere and feel. Staff were on point; attentive and friendly. Impressed with our waiter's memory, he took our orders with no pen and remembered who had ordered what when serving.

Lovely attentive staff and very nice traditional Italian food. They offer gluten free pasta options which they should shout about more. Maybe a sign in the window mentioning this as this could be a draw.
I ordered an Arriabiata which had a slightly thinner sauce than I'm used to but that might be due to the type of pasta I'm used to eating.
Overall a great experience enhanced by the great staff members!

Delicious Italian food and pizza. The best service you could ask for too. The desserts were scrumptious too. My friend and I had the best luck finding this restaurant. We're definitely heading back next time we're in Maidenhead.

I went to dine in with my husband on last saturday lunch. It was very busy. Even though we got great service. The owner checked on us if we enjoyed food and had a little chat with. Ive been in many restaurant around but this one was particularly clean and looked after. I enjoyed their pizza and thr best tiramisuever had. Iwill definitely come back. Bravo

A friend came to visit between Christmas and New year and we decided to eat in a restaurant.
Alghero was warm and friendly with the two waitresses making us welcome.
We had three courses and the food was lovely.
I think the pizzas here are the best in Maidenhead.
