Hi back againt was busy this week and thisntime we had family party at this lovely location call the herbales ok I will start from beginning place look nice and clean us youbcan see it from video I have been uploaded it is busy . We booked this place this time . Very friendly staff polite and helpful but is few bit youbcan find it was waiting time waiting about 30 min for our share starter few drinks have been mixed up order some things and never get them we need to remind waitress we order and we waiting for it . After starter we waiting 1h for main but finally we get it and was not disappointment for that plates was larger and fully loaded some of us can't even finish food it was too much but that good sign if you want little bit more . Prices for food us everywhere else not to expensive but cocktails was little bit over priced . Kebabs perfectly cooked not over cooked 😋 juicy and tasty. Linguini perfectly cooked frys burger was so delicious everyone was loved . See bass it was almost perfect but crispy skin was missing and this was a little bit disappointment . Do I come back HELL YES I WILL BE BACK AND RECOMMENDED TO GO THERE. But you have to try yourself if you like it if this review will help you please press like and fallow for more reviews .thanks everyone.

My girlfriend and I decided to go for a meal at the herbalist to celebrate our anniversary. Upon arriving we were greeted by the lovely Chloe who was super welcoming and kindly commented on how smart we looked. When picking drinks and food Chloe gave us lots of time to decide what we wanted and even offered to make us mocktail versions of anything we wanted and offered the freedom to make something uniquely for us. The food was a great selection and we enjoyed 2 pizzas with some fresh bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This was topped off by a lovely passionfruit creme brulee. To top it all off, when we asked for our bill Chloe surprised us with a lovely anniversary gift of a decorated plate with raspberries, strawberries drizzled in chocolate and a scoop of ice cream. (See pictures). We would 100% recommend a visit and a huge thank you for Chloe for making our visit so special.

Very lucky to get a spot as we came in fairly late. The service was excellent as they offered to serve us anyway. I've been to another one of Elite Pubs chains a few times before so knew this was going to be a good meal. The first thing you'll notice is how wonderfully decorated the place is. If we weren't late as it is we would have definitely stayed for drinks after too. The food was excellent and really good value for the portion size. I did get slightly envious of the table next to us with the hanging kebab, but I had already settled for a pizza. Right in the heart of Maidstone town centre too so great if you're on a day out or just in town.

It was deffinantly worth a look around and the food was amazing. I had a slight issue with my steak but the chef/ staff quickly resolved the issue and I felt the customer service was their top priority. The cocktail selection was very nice. And the food was served quickly. I will happily go back there again And a thank-you to the lovely girls who served us. A great value to the restaurant

This was my first visit and I was impressed with the service and the food. The menu is varied and most people would find something that they could enjoy. My husband said that his steak was not as good as he had hoped and that cooking steak was perhaps not one of their best skills but he enjoyed the other parts of his meal. We would definitely go back again.

Quick booking for a Christmas meal due to train strikes. No issues booking at all, we chose the normal menu which is quite varied. The premises had problems with the heating, but we received plenty of warning and communication in case we wanted to cancel. It's the first time I have visited, I have heard mixed reviews but I couldn't find fault (bar the obvious - prices etc 😬) I had the Chicken wings for starters, £6.50 for 2! 🤔 They were lovely, but should have 3 for that price! Rib-eye steak for main, it was slightly over done, I should have sent it back, but absolutely tip top taste wise, absolute banger. The meal was finished off with the waffle, banana and honeycomb ice cream. I'm not normally a pudding person, but what a taste-gasm! If I'd had more room (or money) I'd have had another. Couple of glasses of Port, a beer and we were at £65, which overall, considering the meal is ok, but worth considering if you're watching the pennies. I'd definitely go again, and would recommend you go and make your own mind up. We didn't use the downstairs area as they were shutting up, everywhere was nice, clean and welcoming.

What a huge, well presented dining space. The Herbalist attracts a, given the prices, affluent youngster. The restaurant has a wealth of menu options. The descriptions are some of the best I’ve seen on any menu. Food including less subtle dishes such as pizzas (cooked in their open, wood pizza oven) and burgers. It does have a range of finer dining options for the seafood, steak and vegetable lover. The experience can be described more as American dining. Don’t expect it to be intimate, but social and jocular. Great for groups. Service is good, perceptive and caring. Food is served promptly and prepared to a good standard.

My partner and I hosted our engagement 💍 party at the Herbalist a few months ago in June. The venue and staff were absolutely amazing 👏 Thank you very much to the staff, Jarvis, Chloe and Kyle for all your efforts to make our day as special as possible and catering to our requests. You were amazing and made the day go so smooth for us. We will be using you again for future events :)
