We passed by the other day by car so tonight we decided to stop and give it a go. We weren't disappointed. A lovely gem in Maidstone!! I'm so happy I have found a pub like this. Friendly and lovely staff and a great customer service. Well done, the walnut pub and owners:)

Great Friday evening at Walnut Tree, live music fabulous, very friendly Staff and well served good beer. Customers all enjoying themselves and interacting with each other, a welcoming bunch of folks. It's just great to find an old traditional pub like this servong and entertaining the locals. Highly recommended.

What a hidden gem! We have enjoyed a fabulous meal here today, we were sat in the 'Snug' which was perfect for a lovely private meal however walking in to the pub we were immediately greeted by the warm fire. The pub is cosy and we will definitely return if in the area again.
