Fish Inn

Really awful. I booked delivery, but it did not arrive even though the message on my computer said it had been delivered. I went to the shop itself to find out what had happened .The person serving was incredibly rude. He told me I should have collected because I lived near enough. Why did I want it delivering, he asked very aggressively. I told him since I was given the option and was very tired it seemed like a good idea. He was horrible. The food itself was the worst I have ever had - absolutely tasteless, Even the so-called curry sauce had no taste. I will never order from Fish Inn again . It combines dreadful "service" and appalling food. I wish there was a no star option.

£35 min order is a joke especially when just eat want to charge £5 delivery fee. I suggest you change that, considering the uk fish bar is on the Rd adjacent to you, and is a million times better quality food so the only thing good for you is being able to deliver. But that £35 min order is letting you down!!!!!

Not impressed. Beef and onion pie missing from our order. Curry sauce was watery and did not really taste of curry, overpriced at £1.50. Fish cake and chicken burger tasteless. Chicken nuggets overcooked and hard. I didn't realise there was an option for small cod and get charged for medium. Will not be eating from here again and will not be recommending.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Appalling service!!!! Food arrives an HOUR late after being told continuously it’s ‘ less than 10 minutes away’. Then get told it’s just left the restaurant Maldon to SWF? Driver arrives with a CHILD in his van holding the food… was this why my food was late, collecting a child!? I asked the woman who very rudely replied saying that there is no child then retracted after I said I can see him - it was her son and he’s allowed to go out with his dad… is he insured to do that though? As expected the food is stone cold and not even an apology from the restaurant. Instead the rude woman told me she’s asking for drivers and no one applying. It’s not her fault apparently. Paid £40 for cold food which arrived an hour late and to get sass from a shop owner

I wish there was no star. Don't bother with this place. I've ordered the delivery but they still didn't come after half an hour from the estimated delivery. so I rung them a couple of time and they cancelled the order although they told me the driver left and would have been there in 5 mins. Then they cancelled my order!!! Apparently the driver hasn't left.
