I didn't actually come here to play golf. I was just on a hike with a friend and passing through so we stayed a little and had a chat with some golfers. They were really friendly men. They helped us take our photos and described the hike route to us so we could easily locate where we needed to be. The golf course seemed to be well kept. I'm not sure it's the biggest I've seen. I asked how many holes the course is and one of the men said 18 but that its actually 9 so they go twice which tells me its a small course but it looked ok. Maybe one day if I come back to the area, I may have a go.
A well-kept course, with a variety of obstacles to keep it challenging. Greens ran fairly fast, and the ball ran smoothly; keeping its line well. A very enjoyable course to play on.
The course doesn't have a driving range. However, there are a few nets to practice your swing and ball contact.
There is a good size club house, with a well stocked bar and a handful of tables outside. Food isn't always served every day.
Great golf course, well kept, and visitors welcome to pay green fees. Worth just giving them a call beforehand to make sure there is not a comp on.
It’s very good to see nature after working days and let go of everything
Have only walked past from Beeleigh Falls, along canal on way to Maldon Tesco but looks like a nice golf course
Nice course made very welcome
An extremely friendly club, both members and staff. Very welcoming. A fun course to play...9 greens 18 tees. Immaculate condition and highly recommended for a fun day out. Don't Google map it - the directions are wrong. Head for Museum of Power and the entrance is next door.
Had a birthday party, staff very friendly and helpful.
Lovely 9 hole course, highly recommended. Friendly club.
Nice journey down a small road which takes you to a couple of scenic parts of the river chelmer, get here very early and you will be rewarded with stunning light and mist of the river.
