This is a gem. This is a beautiful place to stay, eat and enjoy genuine local beers. Great folk on both sides of the bar and mercifully free of babbling Televisions. No corporate gimmickery, just a great Yorkshire pub! Don't miss this if you are travelling in the area.

Just outside of overcrowded Malham is this lovely little village with this great pub. There's several rooms but the main room had a nice fire on in the harth and was lovely and warm. The staff were super kind and the food and drinks were great. There's parking on the side of the road as well. For me after a good hike and dip, Malham itself is far too hectic and this place offered the perfect peaceful ambience and a nice town village rather than a tourist spot.

Lovely village pud with parking. We did not stay or eat but the food did look nice. Had plenty of choice of drinks 6 cask ales to choose from 😁 Lovely atmosphere Shame they didn't have the fire on 😏 Would definatly go back. Lovely Ancient church nxt door worth a visit.

Clean, cosy and friendly staff. We were Passing through, so stopped for overnight stay. Our room backed on to a old gothic cemetery which was gorgeous. Staff and locals very friendly. Old style bar and breakfast was amazing. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely spot to visit and stay. Very welcoming hosts. Spot on food. Good selection of beers. Room and ensuite very clean. Bed comfortable and huge. A thrilling drive to it on some very narrow roads with awesome views. Photos are from the church next door. Some interesting history here. Definitely recommend.

Didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms. We dropped in on Sunday lunch time mid walk the Sunday roast was fantastic and the cider was pretty good as well.

Nice little pub. Friendly staff & a lovely atmosphere. The beer, good ales & a fine selection of spirits. Will have to pop back for food.

Lovely pub in the village of Kirkby Malham & next to a medieval church. We had a meal here & found the pub charming & the service of the gentleman who served us excellent. Recommended

Stayed one night in mid February + dinner and breakfast and can’t fault them at all. Really friendly and welcoming. The food for both dinner and breakfast was brilliant, fresh and local. Chips cooked in beef dripping were a cut above and should come with every meal. Good selection of real ale and the CAMRA guide ‘23 to peruse while waiting for food to arrive. Room was clean, not massive or especially modern but just as advertised so we’re perfectly happy. Shower was class, good water pressure no temperature fluctuations! Overall reasonably priced for a great stay in a fab location. Would return.
