Really lovely pub, great food and top service.
We stayed in our van in their car park for the night, they have a 24hr access toilet available which was really useful for us. Several benches at the front of the pub which were set in a lovely little suntrap to enjoy a local beer or two. The inside of

The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The food was divine. Everyone loved their meals and the prices were really reasonable. Portion sizes were bigger than expected and all the food was clearly freshly prepared.

Set back pub in a village that has a lot to offer! Very pleasant visit for lunch. Staff are lovely and welcoming!

After years of passing by the Ham and Cheese, we thought we would go for lunch and see what it was like, and I have to say that the only disappointing thing was that we didn't go sooner.

Had a fabulous meal here with our friends. Hadn't visited for a while but the food was still great and service excellent. Well worth the visit.
Went for Sunday lunch on Mother's day. Table of 8 adults and 2 kids. Food was lovely in general, though my mother-in-laws yorkshire pudding was well past done!
Service was a little slow, but it was very busy witn it being mothers day. It didnt detract any from our enjoyment, and staff very friendly
Second time visiting the Ham and Cheese. One of the best in the area. Comfy seating, calm atmosphere to enjoy a drink or some food. Toilets were nice and clean. Good opening hours so you can even just pop in for a mid morning coffee. We will visit again.

A gorgeous dog friendly pub in a great location. Wish we had of tried the food as it looked delicious. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Would recommend visiting. When next in the area I sure will be!
Enjoyable fish and chip meal on a busy Friday night; staff very good; nice to have real fire. Not sure if bread and butter is needed with fish and chips these days, but I know it's traditional in Yorkshire etc. Will try pub again.
