The Ham And Cheese Inn

We stopped outside for dinner. A group of 10 (6adults 4children) The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was divine. Everyone loved their meals and the prices were really reasonable. Portion sizes were bigger than expected and all the food was clearly freshly prepared. Will definitely be back and 100% recommend

Really lovely pub, great food and top service. We stayed in our van in their car park for the night, they have a 24hr access toilet available which was really useful for us. Several benches at the front of the pub which were set in a lovely little suntrap to enjoy a local beer or two. The inside of the pub was spacious, lots of signs everywhere (it seems to be their thing or a running joke), comfortable seating, dog friendly in the bar areas which was a good size and plenty of tables for dining as well as a decent sized restaurant area. The staff were all very lovely and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast with them which were both delicious and well priced for the quality given. It looks like they might have some music nights coming up. Based in a lovely little village just outside of Malton, with lots of countryside to enjoy. We'll definitely be going back one day. The owners and staff should be very proud.

Set back pub in a village that has a lot to offer! Very pleasant visit for lunch. Staff are lovely and welcoming! Great atmosphere, plenty parking, dog friendly and clean. Plenty of drinks on offer, both non and alcoholic. Food is outstanding, very good produce and no corners cut, clearly aim to please and that we were! Thank you for a pleasant visit today 💪

Went for Sunday lunch on Mother's day. Table of 8 adults and 2 kids. Food was lovely in general, though my mother-in-laws yorkshire pudding was well past done! Service was a little slow, but it was very busy witn it being mothers day. It didnt detract any from our enjoyment, and staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

After years of passing by the Ham and Cheese, we thought we would go for lunch and see what it was like, and I have to say that the only disappointing thing was that we didn't go sooner. It's a lovely pub, nice atmosphere, really good menu. The food and service were great. Plenty to eat and good value. We will certainly go back.
