We stopped in for coffee and scones and were not disappointed. The coffee was hot, the scones very good and the service was excellent.

Nice coffee, £7 for a cappuccino and a mocha, so normal coffee shop prices. Friendly, quick service (order at counter with a table number). Building and decor could do with a little tlc...

A lovely cosy, welcoming cafe with great atmosphere. Delicious cakes served and espresso was truly delicious. Always make a point of stopping here on way to coast.

Open fire, dogs, nice waitresses, good food and coffe at a reasonable price. A bit noisy with the coffee machine in use, but cheerful and reasonably comfotrtable. Seems to attract some nice customers too.

Certainly, a cafe that should not be hidden!
After being nicely recommended The Hidden Monkey by another local cafe who didn't allow dogs inside, it was great to find that the food and coffee was well worth a little extra walk.
Five of us ate, and we all thought it was some of the best cafe food we'd had for a long time.
Everything was fresh, well made and presented, and the coffees were also notable enough for me to comment how good my mocha was.
As visitors to the area during a holiday, we won't be back in the foreseeable, however if we were in the area again we'd certainly look them up and hope any readers of this also do so and have a similar lovely experience.

What a lovely find. Great Café. Dog Friendly. Which is very important to me. The Courgette and Lentil Soup 🍲😋 was delicious 😋😋😋. Love the little open fireplaces in the Café too.

Good food, good place to sit outside, have been a few times as cafe breaks on bike rides. The cake, coffee & sandwiches are great
