Molly Estill ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Safe to say one of the best pubs about, homely, friendly, with good food and good ale! Locals are always chatty and as the sign says, “where you enter as strangers and leave as friends”. Also very dog friendly with free treats, doggy menu …
Craig H ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Camped in their field. They provided hook up, toilets, showers and water. Nice countryside view. Guinness is very good, staff friendly.
Tanya Shaw ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely fantastic stay in the camper this weekend. Facilities were clean and campsite a bargain and well maintained. Dog friendly pub, open fire, amazing food. I cannot rate this place higher and we will most definitely be back. Thanks so much guys ❤️
Paul Walker ⭐⭐⭐
Bitter well kept, lovely roaring fire. Carling shandy smelt and tasted weird, like a dirty dishcloth. Food was not good. Roast beef dinner had lumpy bland mash, two small roast potatoes, and basically raw/very undercooked carrots and parsnips. Lasagne was about 50% cheese.
Stephen Milsom ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Providence Inn ticks every box if you want a nice pint with a relaxed atmosphere and to top it off the food is spot on too. There's also availability for camping on site with good facilities. I can't wait to return for a bit more of the same.
Erica Collier ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We're regular campers and The Providence is one of our real favourites for pitching up. The staff welcome and service during our stay together with the excellent food offering are a big factor, beautiful location and excellent clean …
