This place is special. Not only the food is a top notch but the service and the atmosphere are truly homely and so friendly. The owners who are also the chefs take their time to speak to every customer and make the whole experience very personal. They make you feel very wanted and that they are happy to see you. It's also quite quirky and different restaurant which makes it stand out. The food menu changes every week! Portions are very generous and even starters could easily be ordered as a main because of how much you get. The quality of the food and the way it's prepared and cooked is outstanding! In fact im still thinking of the food I had last night :) we went there as a small group on a Saturday night and all of us were truly amazed with the food. And we all said we have to come back for sure. If you never been then make sure you get there as I promise you, you will love the food.

Loved it and will be back with friends. We have tasted Love and passion with every mouthful of food served to us. truly Authentic and delicious starters, main meals. Weekend menu changes once a month, we had tartar and carpaccio for a starter, which tasted very fresh, duck and lamb for the main, we could see the food being prepared...all just so mouthwatering, yummy food. The chef brought the mains to us which I thought was a very nice. And wine list! Amazing wines from Slovenia and Bulgaria that you can’t buy anywhere in Manchester 👌🏻it’s a must try!! Freshly baked cakes and proper cheesecake not the one made out of Philadelphia cheese...

Visited Platzki twice before. First time was before we went on a tour of Poland ...what a find ! ..I'd been raving about this place to my daughter and we managed to arrange a time ( she lives in Leeds and I live in Preston) to go with a friend of hers ...food was amazing ..lovely couple of hours spent on a cold windy Saturday afternoon. Will be back soon.

Having recently dined at Ognisko Polish restaurant in London, and thoroughly enjoyed it, we went looking for a Polish restaurant in Manchester. This was a brilliant litle find, with an extremely hrlpful and friendly staff and superb food. The duck confit was amazing and complemented by the other courses. Highly recommended.

Didn't really have plans to go here, but on a whim I took my family for dinner, none of whom had ever tried Polish cuisine before. The menu was simple with something for everyone and the waitress did a brill job of explaining everything, the dishes came out in massive portions, adn we enjoyed a lovely meal at a new restaurant. We agreed we will return.

We were looking for a nice place for a meal before a concert at the Albert Hall in Manchester. We happened to stumble upon this little Gem of place in Deansgate Mews. There were 4 of us and we were able to get a table and the staff are extremely friend and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxed and even though you can see the chefs at work, it isn't noisy and very easy to hold a conversation with everything going on. The menu was really good and it included vegetarian and vegan options. All of meals were extremely tasty and the portion size was excellent. They have a large selection of Polish Vodka's to choose from as well. i would recommend that you try this little gem and you won't be disappointed, we will be going back i can assure you.

I had been meaning to go here since moving to Manchester last August, especially with my love for everything Polish and the proximity to work and home. Finally I went on Friday and it warmed my heart to be reminded of wonderful Poland here in Manchester. The kotlet was delicious and I will be returning with my Polish best friend in a couple of weeks. Cannot wait. Well done to all of the staff for creating something very special with your hard work.

This place is amazing. The food is amazing, the staff are super friendly, the chefs are fantastic, the menu always has plenty of choice. There is a midweek menu and a weekend menu. A small but hidden gem always busy and lively but has a real nice atmosphere, no loud music or pretentious people. This place knows what it does and does it really well. Miss this place at your peril.

My wife and I went with our adult daughter and son-in-law and our lively 17 month-old grand-son. My daughter had flagged up when booking that she is dairy and gluten free and they had planned for that when we arrived. Impressive. Although the room is small we did not feel cramped, even with a little chap in a high chair (some of the time). Decor and ambience felt warm, arty and interesting. The service was attentive and friendly; waitress surprised us by bringing some complimentary fresh fruit for our youngest diner. Starters and mains were excellent. I had oyster mushroom soup and duck legs and both were superb. Others in the party were delighted with their meals too. Malbec wine was high quality too. The caramel cheesecake was a bit more ordinary, but still enjoyable. Would definitely return here.

Just finished weekend lunch menu( different menu during the week) at Platzki with my husband and we both loved it. Although I think we both need a nap after such enormous portions. So many flavours it was a delight. We had beetroot soup and black pudding for starters, both spot on followed by the duck and steak for mains, once again spot on. The service from(I think) Ewalina? Was great, making sure you’re well looked after without breathing behind your shoulders. Everything neat and tidy, best of all? No slate or wooden board!!! Would definitely recommend and we will be back, looking forward to our trip to Kracow ! Thank you

Visited after reading the reviews and so glad that we did. Excellent food and you can watch the guys prepare your food in the open plan kitchen. I had a herring dish to start my wife had black pudding. This was followed by a filet steak and duck legs. Superb cooking and service. Keep up the good work - well worth a visit 10 out of 10 from me

It is a genuinely nice little restaurant, I liked the atmosphere and most of all the food. Such a nice addition to all the 50000 of your usual British Italian restaurants you can find in Manchester. The menu is quite limited but they change it often so it is the kind of place that I will go back to . It is quite pricy but worth the money in my opinion . Well deserved high rating

Visited for christmas dinner with work colleagues. We had the whole of the restaurant for our meal which made it feel very bespoke for us. The service was good and the ambience was lovely. The food was a little mixed. The desserts weren’t very good, but the main meals were lovely. Definitely worth a try.

Cute little restaurant located at the side of the Great Northern Warehouse. Never had Polish food before and I must say it was excellent. Waitress was also very attentive and friendly. The duck leg was particularly good

We went last night. I’m from a Polish family so really wanted to try it and I was blown away. The food was sublime and didn’t disappoint. I desperately wanted cheese Pierogi not what was on the menu (because they reminded me of my mum) and the Chef made them for me. I can’t thank him enough, even though I had them with sugar (so sorry!). The cabbage soup was a stunner, as were the herrings and the beetroot side, well, yet more memories. The atmosphere was relaxed and understated and our waitress was super efficient, friendly and attentive, in just the right amounts. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED it and will definitely be going back again. Thank you everyone. Wesolych Swiat xxx

Looking for somewhere authentic in the middle of Manchester on a Saturday night, and not a boring chain or generic Italian, we found this highly rated spot on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. It took a bit of finding in it's quiet "round the back" location but the food was excellent, prepared in the kitchen that forms one side of the dining space. Staff were friendly and helpful with gluten free information for my friend. The bottle of Malbec was so-so but otherwise a first rate meal.

My Polish friend took me to this restaurant! I didn’t know I was in for a treat! This is definitely a hidden gem! Such cosy atmosphere and amazing food! The dining experience almost felt like a Michelin star restaurant experience! The food menu changes every 2 weeks so you are always in for a surprise! Definitely try out different flavoured vodka they have! And of course the desserts! The best cheese cake I have ever had!
