Very clean and pleasant. A little expensive but first class service throughout. Very wide ranging menu. American style diet with European dishes too. Disabled accessible.
Nice breakfast for a weekend trip
Ate here twice in a row, price is fair and service time was good. Quality of food was as expected High and the waitresses was polite and quick.
Im from Portugal and when I visited my cousin, I always come here to eat. I already brought lots of friends and they all loved it, just like me. has lots of space and lots of light! has a varied menu of traditional food and many veggie options. I loved it!
We had breakfast here on Sunday. The food was freshly prepared and really tasty. Eggs and avocado were fresh and the portions were quite large. Friendly staff. Great tasting coffee. We would eat here again.
Great place for breakfast or brunch! Even the Mini North breakfast at around £3.55 is more than enough to fill you up and the coffees are decent too! Highly recommended for a classy hangover cure!
What can I say? Everything I hoped for! Went on a busy Saturday at noon. First thing, and how often does this happen? The table was immaculately clean. We were greeted straight away and soon after our order taken. Eggs Benedict and Big North Breakfast soon arrived. Superbly presented, hot and really delicious. With 2 coffees cost was £15, well worth it!
Well worth a visit.. We eat here almost every Saturday morning when shopping in the city centre. Located a few minutes walk from the Arndale Centre with welcoming staff it is always worth a visit. My partner frequently eats the enormous Big North breakfast while I prefer to meander across the menu the breakfast is only let down by the fact that the black pudding has its skin left on.
We have never had a bad meal here despite visiting at different times throughout the day and week and with the added bonus of fresh mushrooms and tomatoes (a rarity in Manchester) the breakfasts are worth a visit anytime.
The jacket potatoes, salads and paninis are also delicious for a more then fare price and the cafe also supports the CityScene discount card system which initially enticed us through the doors.
The only downside I can see is the cafe does shut early in the evenings which is disappointing as a visit after work would be delightful, especially as the cafe boasts a license.
My girlfriend and I had a fantastic breakfast at Cafe North. I went for the Full English Breakfast and it was amazing. My girlfriend ordered the Banana Pancakes and they were to die for.
The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a delicious breakfast spot, check out you won't be disappointed.
Very friendly environment and staff, the food came fast. The food was tasty and fresh 🙂 I just felt that the soup wasn’t a soup and the americano was not Arabica. If it wasn’t then I recommend to change it 😊 otherwise it’s very lovely place and people 👍
Had a great breakfast here! Eggs Benedict and Mini North breakfast. Loved it. Also enjoyed the drinks.
Came to stay in Manchester for a week and ended up visiting the place 4 times. Quick and super friendly service. Price is absolutely worth the delicious food and drinks. Freshly prepared and directly sent to the table. Definitely will be back next time. Peng out of Peng!
I’ve walked in and seated within 5 minutes on a very busy Saturday morning, the seating was comfortable and they took our orders quickly. The food was all great, everyone enjoyed their meal and the smoothies were really good.
Hot tasty food, freshly prepared and served by friendly and efficient staff. An all-day breakfast kind of café which was exactly what we wanted. Recommended.
I had lentil soup and club sandwich menu which was about 11 pounds. It was so good. So delicious. I couldn’t even finish my club sandwich. It was so good.
Thank you for the delicious meal
I had never visited this café before due to the huge queue outside but today it was quiet and I’ve decided to pay them a visit.
The café is located at the hearth of Manchester, a few steps away from Shudehill Station, Manchester Arndale, The Printworks and Corner Exchange. The design of the café is informal and cosy. It has large windows that let the light come in, while you sit in a modern environment that presents as relaxing, as well as vibrant at the same time.
There is a good choice of high-quality food with excels in the presentation as well as the taste. You can eat traditional breakfast items, as well as indulgent deserts, French toasts, pancakes and waffles. They have also a small selection of pastries and cakes and an abundant variety of drinks, spacing from home-made smoothies to cocktails, all diligently prepared while you wait.
Despite being busy, the service was incredibly fast and the staff friendly and welcoming.
When you consider all the above, you would expect to pay high prices and various surcharges (as it does happen in many cafes and restaurants in Manchester) but, surprisingly, this is not the case! Prices are appropriate and you pay exactly what you order, without any hidden gratuity or service surcharge.
If you are in Manchester, I definitely recommend paying them a visit as this is definitely a local gem!
We (family of 4 with 2 kids) ended up coming here for brunch after realising that we'd have to queue for 40 mins around the corner in a very popular cookie place...
Had to wait for a table here too as it was a busy Saturday lunchtime, however the wait was reasonable considering time of the day and how busy it was.
Pleasantly surprised with the selection of dishes on the menu, we tried oreo French toast, eggs royal, and egg North. Very tasty and arrived super quickly too!
Kids loved the smoothies, we loved the coffee! Cute cups ☕️
Looking forward to trying other stuff off the menu next time.
Prices average for a cafe in town.
Be prepared for quite a diverse clientele.
We enjoyed our tea time here. The food was good, and the waitresses were kind.
