I had a prawn starter which was great loved it however,my friend's pizza was too spicy ... I like spicy but this one was too spicy 🔥 We had a cocktail and Italian wine... Wine was good and cocktail was too strong for a cocktail. I liked their drink menu that all wines were Italian and got touch of Italy. We weren't over pleased with staff ... Wasn't like a posh restaurant and that attentive... Decoration was fairly alright. Like an old Italian style I found tables too close to each other. Let's say 4 stars would be fair base on the fact this is not a cheap restaurant it didn't reach my expectations .

My friend and I came here to benefit from a January offer. I got mackerel to start, followed by a duck main. Both were sensational: the vegetables and sauces paired with the ‘main’ element were spot on. The server was visually perturbed when we asked for the service charge to be removed…but it was that high, any saving made would have been negated since the tip was added BEFORE the discount had been applied.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Gusto Italian and must say that it was a delightful experience. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional - attentive and friendly without being intrusive. As for the food, I ordered the 3 meat lasagna and a brownie dessert, and they both exceeded my expectations. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the lasagna was perfectly cooked with a mouth-watering blend of savory meats. The only minor critique I have is that the portions were on the smaller side, but this was more than made up for by the quality of the food and service. Overall, I highly recommend Gusto Italian for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

I booked a table through Gusto Italian's website for my partner's birthday. It had a good selection of vegetarian options, and the food was delicious! The staff were friendly, service was fast, and the atmosphere was nice. The only negative there was a bit of a wait standing queuing at the door as nobody was on the front desk, and the staff must've forgot it was my partner's birthday as there was no surprise / candle with her desert (however there was 2+ other birthday celebrations that night so I think the staff might've just been rather busy)...

Good service, really nice and pretty interior. Would say their sharing platter for 2 is great for Sunday roast. The ragu shepherds pie and sirloin cut was great but the crackling was too hard and chewy and chicken was too dry. Carrots were also too hard but subjective so will give benefit of the doubt. Overall a pleasant experience and would go again.

My birthday meal (a lovely surprise venue booked by my son) was held here, a place I had not visited before. We all love Italian food (there were four on our party), and all our meals, from the starters through to the desserts, were fantastic - with generous portions sizes to ensure we left nicely full 😊. Great friendly and prompt service by all wait staff, and a really nice treat at the end of my meal with a birthday dessert plate and candle - it's these kind of gestures that make an evening more special!

I booked a work’s Christmas party for 11 people for Sat 16/12/23. From the start of everything I had impeccable service from Jenny. Nothing was too much trouble and contact with myself was always maintained. Due to various issues, 2 people from the party dropped out last minute but that was no problem at all for Jenny. As for the evening itself, we genuinely felt like royalty the way we were treated by not just Jenny, but out incredible waitress, Aoife (think that’s her name but she’s in the attached picture!) She was the most attentive and polite waitress I’ve had serve me in a long long time, a true asset to Gusto. Thank you! The food itself was exceptional. Perfect timing between courses and despite us having to pre-order with it being a group of over 7, nothing was wrong which is a refreshing change when you have big tables! All in all, it was a fantastic evening made by amazing food and the best staff around. Thank you so much and see you in January and Christmas next year! *** January Update 2024! *** It won’t let me submit another review so just adding a few lines proving this restaurant is not a one off! Following the amazing Christmas do, myself and partner attended on Sat 20/01 for dinner. It was so lovely to be recognised by front of house from Christmas! The staff were as awesome as always, especially our waitress BETH. Service and food were exceptional and it was my partners first time here. He also loved it! Thanks again and see you soon!

We chose this restaurant for it's meat free and vegan options, and it did not disappoint. The food was very tasty, good sized portions, and a great example of how plant based cooking can be creative. Ideal for parties with mixed menu needs, the atmosphere was lively without being too noisy to spoil the intimacy. Service was excellent, will eat there again.
