Best Vietnamese food in Manchester! Family friendly - we like to take our two little toddlers out to eat and struggle to find somewhere sometimes that keeps us all happy but we feel right at home at iampho - they even put Peppa pig on the tv for us if they are not busy. Catered for us adults (starters are amazing) and healthy pho for the kids too! Staff are always polite and friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Always leave with a full stomach (sometimes a banh mi for breakfast) and a smile on our faces! P.s must try Vietnamese ice coffee - the best!
We visited Manchester a few days ago and had lunch on arrival. The service was friendly and the food arrived promptly. We liked the atmosphere too - clean and crisp decor and nice and cool on what was a very hot day. The Summer Rolls were delicious and we also tried the frogs legs (I was a bit hesitant at first but they were very tasty!) The Pho was excellent, a good sized portion and again delicious. Overall excellent value all round and we'll be visiting again!
Great food
We got the summer rolls and the beef pho, and all the food was great. They have huge portions and prices aren’t high at all. The interior is a bit sad, but the food is worth the visit.
pretty awesome place to have a meal, specially in cold days like these. we ate two different pho types, one with pork and shrimps and the other only with chicken. both were very good. the service was ridiculously efficient. we arrived, asked and 5 minutes later they brought our food. totally recommend.
Second time in less than 24 hours! The pho is well worth another visit. Family now addicted to the pho. Never fails to satisfy. Service quick and efficient.
Elli from Melb. Though the layout feels similar to that of a school cafeteria this is to be expected at most viet Pho places (in Footscray, VIC, Australia anyway especially). Having convinced some not over eager friends to eat there everyone was pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness of Pho, and the attentive nature of the staff, having lived in melbourne surrounded by Pho I am overjoyed to find a traditional viet restaurant again that sells it. Will be making many a trip back there.
I knew I Am Pho was going to be a pretty no-frills type of place but us Morrises don't mind this one jot. It was all very clean and spick and span. I particularly like the musical tiles in the toilets. As us Morrises are all such fans of the Vietnamese summer rolls we knew without even looking at the menu that we were going to be getting a portion of those, but there was such a good selection of interesting starters at I Am Pho that we decided to order three different ones and share. This sharing lark is a dangerous game in the Morris family as you have to be quick like a cat, but it was

One of the foods I love as much as noodles are condiments and so I made sure that I was sat next to them so I could caress them when nobody was looking.
tarting with ‘Nom Goi’, a Vietnamese salad available with a number of toppings including beef jerky, prawns and chicken which we opted for. This is my kind of salad, full of flavour and texture. Crunchy, fresh and very tasty with a good balance of acidic lemon and salty fish sauce. The chicken was succulent and a generous portion, with the addition of Sriracha from the brilliant selection of condiments it was perfect.
I Am Pho is Chinatown’s only Vietnamese restaurant (café). It serves a simple menu of Vietnamese ‘street food’ favourites including Phở, Bánh Cuốn, Bún, Hủ Tiếu, Nộm, Gỏi and Bánh mì – basically all that is good!
Unfortunately central Manchester’s not blessed with the type of small Jewish deli where chicken noodle soup; but what we do have is I Am Pho, a Vietnamese restuarant/cafe repleat with large bowls of savoury warming soup noodles. And believe me Pho is as good of a cure as chicken soup for anything, even hangovers!
Delicious food and reasonable prices. Very friendly staff is always happy to advice on food and drinks and can help with any query.
This food really hit the spot after a long train ride on a rainy day. Service was quick and efficient, food came pretty fast after ordering. The pho was super delicious, salad was very refreshing and flavorful. Price was very reasonable too.
Can absolutely recommend! Great food, very nice staff and pretty decorations. The vegetarian bun bo hue and summer rolls were so delicious! The portions were big, almost too big for me though, but can’t complain. The food came quickly and was very authentic. you could tell it’s a good restaurant, because many locals were there. You definitely should give it a go!
My must eat place in Manchester. I love it every time I come here. Food is fresh and nicely cooked. The staff is great and helpful . If you are nearby i recommend you try it. A+++ Service
Best Pho in Manchester, one of the best that I’ve had around the world so far in my travels! (experienced nearly 100 phos across the world). The food is very fairly priced, quick service and tasted amazing.
The broth of the Pho was really quite tasty, better than expected. Wished there'd be a bit more meat though. The vietnamese spring roll was alright. Overall, I did enjoy my lunch. Definitely worth another visit.
The food is so good with big portions, the dipping sauce for the fresh spring rolls is just a bit too sweet. The staffs are so friendly and attentive. What we love is that they serve also the fried frogs! That’s dope!
Been here a couple of times and I’d say it’s pretty good. Located in china town it’s quite convenient to get to. Decent prices and the pho tastes good. Nicely decorated atmosphere. Would recommend.
Lovely food, went in as a group of 8 and they made a plan to seat us all though unfortunately couldn't be seated together. I had the beef steak medallions and noodles which were delicious. Strange that drinks were brought in bottles and no glasses provided but not the end of the world. All in all, nice lunch out.
“Bun rieu cua” is so delicious. I do not expect that the bowl was big like that. The price is really suitable and one more time, the food is really good!!!!!!
