We have eaten here in the past and have never been disappointed.
This is why we chose Cafe Istanbul to Celebrate our Daughters Graduation.
The food was excellent and the service was quick and attentive.
The price is comparable to other Turkish resterants we have eaten in.
My husband is Turkish and loved his food always a good sign :)

Cafe Istanbul never fails to delivery excellent food and service. This restaurant is our 'go too' over many years and we are so pleased that the standards have been consistent even through a change of ownership and refurbishment. A Manchester Icon. Wonderful food, wonderful staff.
Arrived to delightfully friendly staff Waited on superbly in lovely surroundings We had starters which were wonderful then the main courses which were a delight and plentiful Wouldn’t hesitate to return Reasonable price 78 quid for 2 which also included bottle of wine bottle of mineral water and coffees Thanks to everybody for a memorisable evening

Had a business dinner at Cafe Istanbul. Service was some of the best I have seen. The food was superb and great value for money. I even got the deal! Thanks Cafe! Steak was awesome :)
Went for friend's birthday on a busy Saturday night. Very warm and welcoming staff. The service from our waiter was exceptional. Fast service and food is very tasty and eye catching! I especially enjoyed my dessert the Kunefe. They gave the birthday boy a free birthday chocolate fudge cake and a warm Turkish happy birthday tune where the whole restaurant joined in clapping and singing 😁
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the quality if food is very good, and the menu features a variety of choices. I don’t think it’s the best place for vegan/ vegetarian but at least there’s a few vegan/vegetarian options.
I have to admit that I am impressed by the quality of the food here.
We had Calamari, king prawns for starters and then chicken wings and mixed grill for main courses. The food itself is beautifully presented and very tasty. You can see they are very into details from the side dishes like rice and salad.
Staff are polite and friendly, very chill out environment for dine in. Open kitchen with oven and very fresh vegetables.
I am looking forward to coming back to try more tasty food.
Visited for the first time on Friday 6/10. Most certainly won't be the last time! Warmly welcomed. Incredibly impeccable service and simply delicious food. Loved it!
Decent all-round. Food was nice, chicken shish for me, lovely bread comes with it to give that surprise and delight moment. Salad on the side was a suggestion rather than a main player. Good selection of sauces to got with the food. New ordering system on day I went so service maybe slower as a result but still fine. Not mind blowing but decent.
I saw a special for two come out and it did look good!

Came in here without a booking as a relative noob to Turkish food. It’s always a great sign when the restaurant is full of native folks and I now know why. Service was second to none, the food was incredible (we had the cold meze and the mixed grill) and I’m still grinning about the price ha ha
This place is WONDERFUL. First off, the setting is lovely, with traditional and modern elements. The staff are attentive and friendly, even offering us complimentary tea at the end of our meal. The food was incredible!!! Juicy kebab, freshly baked breads and lahmacun (flatbread with spiced mince), the best ezme (pepper sauce) and most incredible sutlac (rice pudding) I've ever had, and I've been to a lot of Turkish restaurants! We had the lunch menu which was so much food for the price of only £13 each for two courses. Totally was not what I was expecting and a really wonderful experience all round. Shout out to our waiter Ahmed!!

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday night. Our table was ready for us on arrival and we were quickly seated. The food and service here is absolutely amazing.
