A decent place for lunch
It may not look particularly appealing from the outside, but they do make some good curry there. It gets busier at lunchtime, the sign that they are doing things right. If you really peckish, order some naan to share.
A recent review said not to judge a book by its cover - I echo this. A new passer-by might be unlikely to come in here - it's on a back alley / street, and isn't exactly an aesthetic beacon. But you should definitely go - you can get your rice and three for 5 pounds - home cooked deliciousness. There are 4 or 5 tables in there for seating, but they are two-tops and it's very tight. This is a great little curry house right by piccadilly gardens. We went because of the TA reviews - very glad we did!
Hi, me and my husband we went there to eat Lamb Karahi and it was super, We recommend. We would like to have that recipe, can you give us please, thank you
First of all this place is small and second of all forget about the place the food is absolutely delicious. You get hot food with either naan or rice and it's amazing. The naans are huge but they are so soft.We ordered Rogan rhost and chicken with rice.It was not Less than satisfying. If you want hot comfort food this is the place to go.
A great rice and three cafe. Unlike the others in Manchester, which serve canteen style, they cook each dish fresh in pans so you have to wait a bit for your food. We had chana, daal and spinach curries, a veg samosa, and a chapati which was the star of the show. It came to £9 which for quantity and quality was great.
We had two 3 No. curries & rice. Absolutely lovely, all freshly made. A little gem tucked away in Manchester
Best Indian curries in my life! And such a good price. Great flavour, homemade food, and friendly family. Wanting to come back soon. It just taste sooo good, you wont regret
Fabulous authentic food. Love these golden nuggets you find off the beaten track in Manchester. Try this place you will go back again and again. Enjoy!!
Ridiculously wonderful food. No frills just lovingly well produced extremely flavoursome dishes. Real home made street food without the marketing. Family run tiny curry restaurant that puts effort into every dish everyday. Basic space, magnificent food. How I like it.
The food in this place is fantastic. Best value curry every! Not entirely sure about the alleyway its on but you don't have to go too far in to reach the place :O
Just had my first meal here, 3 curry's and rice. It was excellent. Lovely people, quick service and perfect portion size.
I'm already planning another visit.
Absolutely fantastic food. Best cafe curry food I've tasted.
I haven't visited for some time but decided to stop by during my lunch break. Despite it being over a year, I was warmly welcomed by the family run team.
The food quality was as fantastic as I remembered; their homemade breads are easily the best I've tried. The lamb was very succulent, and the was sauce is rich. It's not the cheapest lunch option, but for the price and taste, it still represents good value.
Whilst the location is modest, the experience is authentic.
There are a lot of good curry cafes in the area, but for me, Marhaba is still the best.
Nice place, inexpensive, tasty has vegetarian options as well.
