I visited Nueve Tapas Bar with my wife, and we got seated pretty quickly since it was a chill Tuesday evening. The menu looked promising with lots of authentic tapas, so we ordered serrano, croquetas, tortilla de patatas, and finished off with churros con chocolate. The service was good, not too in-your-face. Food came out quick and nice and warm, and it looked great too. Only thing, the chocolate sauce for the churros was bitter, more like melted dark chocolate than the thick chocolate milk you'd get in Spain. Also, the portions were kinda small for the price. But hey, I was hesitant to visit at first because they had a 1-star hygiene rating, but they've really stepped up their game since then. I didn't get sick at all, so they've definitely improved, and that's something I'm happy about. Other than those minor points, everything was spot on!

First time dining here and will definitely go again. Food was absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked, fresh, vibrant, packed with flavour. Highly recommend both the sea bass, and cod dishes. Service was excellent - staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
