Lovely little cafe, with a nice choice of brunch items. Would like to see French toast on the menu - but when wouldn't I! Prompt and polite service. Pancakes were delicious - would like my bacon crisper, but wasn't a big enough issue to mention at the time. Tater tots with baconnaise - ooooeeeee yummers! Be interesting to know if anyone actually reads my reviews, haha. Otherwise I'm basically Journaling.

Love the refurb!! Great place to catch up with friends over breakfast and tea, lovely atmosphere. Their Earl Grey is some of the best I've had ❤️☕ The avocado, poached egg & smoked salmon toast was delicious. I loved the addition of sesame seeds and pomegranate & they give a generous amount of smoked salmon too 😋

MASSIVE pieces of cake. Nice coffee. Staff were really friendly. However, I've deducted one star because the toilet was in a bit of a sorry state and had no handwash. Luckily in this day and age I carry handsanitiser. Would recommend this place, but try not to use the bathroom. EDIT: Came here again a few months after the first review. Came here with my sister, her partner and their newborn. Staff were really friendly and warmed up some water so that we could make a bottle. Can report that the toilets were in a better state this time.

Great staff girl who looked after us on Saturday was lovely. Food came a bit cold but we was so hungry we just carried on. I've had better meals from here before, took my lad for first time. He thought it was ok , we both had the chicken and bacon burrito 🌯, and shared some bacon fries. Overall it was good, just let down by the food obviously being left on the pass to long.

Home sweet home is one of my all time favourites and they did not disappoint today! I ordered the chicken burrito! It was absolutely delicious! I also got the strawberry milkshake which was just what I was craving! Staff are always so so lovely! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating available! No complaints!

Fantastic place, food and customer service. If you ever end up, their pancakes is also an absolute MUST! Would recommend to anyone, especially if you just happen to be wandering about the Northern Quarter (NQ). Though there's so many other places to sit, this one is definitely worth stopping by to have a nibble!
