Good Sunday lunch menu portions are a good size and service can be a little hit and miss although it was no busy. I have been before a few time the atmosphere was a little dull but the was because there weren’t many people around. Food great as usual I always recommend the Corned Beef Hash. Good cho
Some of the recent reviews were worrying but everything was fine. The restaurant is very old school and well maintained, though the men's toilet is missing a lock. The fish and chips were good, including the mushy peas. The kids roast beef was good though portions perhaps a bit too big. My pie was p
A small restaurant set back behind a bar, but don't let that put you off. Their friendly staff serve hot, tasty food of very generous portion sizes. We were very pleasantly surprised and both said we'd be back. The corned beef hash took me back to childhood! Recommended.
One of the best sunday roasts I’ve had in a pub, and the beef is soooooo tender it literally melts in your mouth, absolutely loved it. The only thing I would mention is, £4 for a little bottle of coke?? And 13% service charge?
I visit this pub frequently because I enjoy the cozy atmosphere. However, I've only dined here once. Travelling around Manchester and found this pub that serves Lamb Hot Pot. Absolutely delicious! The Toffee pudding is also very good, with a very strong toffee taste in it. 10/10 food!

Booked here as always enjoyed the food on previous occasions and it was close to the Opera House where we were heading. Mum had the corned beef hash which I'd recommended and she thoroughly enjoyed it and I had the lamb hotpot. This was lovely but not sure about the pickled red cabbage, left a funny
