Good Sunday lunch menu portions are a good size and service can be a little hit and miss although it was no busy. Some of the recent reviews were worrying but everything was fine. The restaurant is very old school and well maintained, though the men's toilet is missing a lock. A small restaurant set back behind a bar, but don't let that put you off. Their friendly staff serve hot, tasty food of very generous portion sizes. We were very pleasantly surprised and both said we'd be back. The corned beef hash took me back to childhood! Recommended.

One of the best sunday roasts I’ve had in a pub, and the beef is soooooo tender it literally melts in your mouth, absolutely loved it. The only thing I would mention is, £4 for a little bottle of coke?? And 13% service charge?

Travelling around Manchester and found this pub that serves Lamb Hot Pot. Absolutely delicious! The Toffee pudding is also very good, with a very strong toffee taste in it. 10/10 food!
