(Detailed review below) Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambiance ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accessibility ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cost ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Summary ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stopped here looking for a light snack; coffee and cakes. Ended up with a nice latte and a passion fruit meringue. The coffee is great; smooth, not bitter/sour. The meringue was nice too. A bi
Great restaurant. We called in for an early dinner en-route from the Marriott to the O2 Ritz. Food was very good. Excellent value for money. Service very attentive and friendly. For casual dining with a touch of class this is the place to go.
Excellent Italian food, to my knowledge it seems quite authentic. Set menu is great value and the food is really excellent.
Staff are always efficient and unfalteringly friendly. Coffee is good and food is tasty. Location is good if you need to catch the bus or train afterward. They've recently upped the prices so not too sure on the value for money on a couple of the items. Chocolate bread and butter pudding is worth a
Came here for an evening meal with the family and was not disappointed. Dominic, our server, surprised us with his knowledge of the menu. We took his recommendations and I must say that my boar soup was delicious. It was something new and interesting. Thanks, would come again.
We had a very nice meal here. Great service, well mixed drinks and reliable Carluccio's Italian dishes. There was a chilly draft however from the multiple sets of large glass doors on the particular winter evening, despite being sat at a table quite far away.
Decent Italian with a good bar area and a small produce section for shoppers. Coffees are excellent and can be bought to takeout. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I'd recommend their breakfast selection which is light and tasty. Menu is simple and quality is consistent. Not the world's greatest
Booked a table for 18 people for an evening meal - the staff were very accommodating and polite and looked after us well. When they discovered it was my birthday, a complimentary desert arrived with a candle :) food was delicious and affordable. The decor is smart and modern. All in all a great pla
Sat 4 pm reservation . Quiet when we arrived, very pleasant welcome but very under staffed. The two waiters worked manfully but long waits between taking an order for drinks etc. The food as I would expect was as wonderful as usual . My rating would have been 5 star had the adequate staff. One more
Good, decent ingredients especially considering this is a chain. We had the sharing Grandioso platter and it was good. More attention to detail would have been better as a few of the portions were in 3 rather than 4 but the quality was good. Coffees were decent though a tad lukewarm and a biscuit wo
Went for drink and snack in the cafe just before Christmas. Hot chocolate was lovely and also recommend take away as it is only one pound for tea coffee hot chocolate etc, and it is delicious! Only criticism is when i was waiting to pay my bill (in a rush) after sitting in at the restaurant, I was i
Great service. Good selection of well presented meals on the menu. And sign up to email news letters and get some excellent deals too. Good location in Spining Field. Hand for something to eat before a show at the Opera House.
I love this restaurant chain, the food is fresh, tasty and cooked well, staff are professional and friendly, venues are clean, calm and peaceful. Vegan choices are also detailed on the menu. Truly delicious; the best Italian food around in my opinion ❤️
Great meal. Our server was Sam and she was so naturally and genuinely friendly (and funny) so thank you!! We had starters mains and desserts and everything was absolutely delicious, we’ll be back very soon. Grazie!!!!
What a great service. Manager Silvia and our server Sam made my mother in law’s birthday very special. Even though restaurants nowadays can act like it’s a routine thing and go with the flow, Silvia and Sam certainly made this birthday feel very special and made sure it was exactly like we wanted. H
The food here’s some of the tastiest Italian I’ve had. The service is quick, friendly and efficient. The only problem here is the atmosphere. The whole place just feels a bit boring with no cosy environment created and you just feel like another customer.
Very tasty food, kids eat for a £1 (check their website for offers). Service was good, despite being swamped from the theatre kick out, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The kids menu includes a starter of fresh celery, carrot and cucumber sticks with a lovely tomato based sauce and a drink (
Great service and the food was good on the set menu although the chicken for the main was a little bland. The quick service and friendly staff made up for it though. Beautiful building and very close to the Manchester Opera House perfect for a reasonable pre theatre meal 🥂🎭
