I have visited this little place on more than one occasion and I love the feel and setting of it. The food is wonderful and boasts a taste of home cooking whilst maintaining the essential "eating out" factor to its menu. Staff are very polite and the service is excellent to boot. It is a reasonably priced and very hospitable place for a lunch date or to grab a coffee through the day. I will be returning. ���

Best cup of tea on Burton Road.
My rather elderly mum was returning home after a Hospital visit, and see needed a cup of tea. So she went to The Burton Road Bakery and found a welcoming spot, the staff couldn't be more helpful. She assured me it was the best cup of tea she'd had in ages. And she should know.
Amazingly friendly and welcoming staff serving a comforting breakfast/brunch. The place is obviously doing things right as it always has people queueing for its good hearty food and coffee.
The full English breakfast was just the right size to allow you to carry on your day and not sink into a blissful food coma.
Popped in as they were closing to get one of the last cheese & onion pasties, the gentleman was very welcoming and threw in a spinach & feta pastry for free as they were about to shut. Lovely fella. Both tasted great too, excellent service.
Friendly family business - a hub for the local community of West Didsbury. Great prices, delicious simple comfort food, smiling chatty staff. A home from home.
This is by far the nicest cafe in Manchester. I work at Withington Hospital and we all come here! The breakfasts are amazing! Someone reviewed earlier that the sausages were cheap?! They are proper butchers pork sausages, nothing like the usual cheap breakfast sausages you get? The owner and his staff are also very polite and attentive on every visit. The cafe is very multicultural so that previous review is absolutely ridiculous! I see the staff chatting to everyone, regardless of race! I do agree though, I wish it was open on Sunday's!!
Lovely bakery, sandwiches & cake to takeaway as well as providing dine in breakfast & lunch.
Breakfast was good. I didn't like the sausages, but the assistant apologised for Lincolnshire sausages being sold out. Nice cup tea.

Had a fab veggie breakfast yesterday. It was all made fresh, the lady serving me was very polite, lovely and sweet. When I said no eggs, she immediately asked me if I wanted the eggs a different way, which I did, scrambled. The food was made fresh and it was piping hot, I love really hot food. Well worth the wait and the prices are fair and reasonable. Will definitely be back. I got told about this place the same day I did my visit and the reviews from others were spot on.
We had a lovely lunch Today. Food was tasty, service was brilliant. Really enjoyed our lunch there.
Could not recommend enough!! They were so accommodating of our group of 8 even though it was near to close, the food was incredible snd such good value and the staff were so helpful. Also some great vegan options for our friend. Will definitely be returning soon- loved it!
