Excellent for fish and chips. Fish are really fresh, and they serve English curry (the one with the bits in). A local institution.

We randomly went in here when passing on our way out of town and didn’t regret it. The staff are all so kind and helpful, they really make you feel welcome and wanted in there. It is so clean and the best bit is that the food is spot on, great little find!

Great chippy, one of my fav in Manchester (fav Thompsons) staff always polite & friendly. Food always spot on. (My pudding this time was a little overcooked / soggy) but usually always spot on. Great value and good portions.

Best chippy in Manchester. Always go before the Man City games and the trusty chip barm and gravy has become a tradition for a win against anyone we play! Everything is flavoursome, cooked well, salted generously and really good prices. It's one of the best chippies I've ever been to

Don’t know how they cook their chips but they are so nice, only other place I have had chips so good was in Scarborough. Best chippy in Manchester without a doubt

We ordered for collection and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We ordered fish and mushy peas, curry chips and a foot long battered sausage shared between the two of us for under £10. I enjoyed most of the order apart from the curry which I thought it was fairly bland and there were a lot of bits of flour for thickening. The fish was spot-on though; fresh and crispy which is rare being in the city centre and nowhere near the beach/ seaside. The price was very reasonable and cheap for the generous portion. Would definitely come back again!

Clean restaurant and takeaway areas, friendly and helpful staff, food was super tasty and fresh, crispy fish and chips. Restaurants in the city centre are charging double for fish and chips that are no where near as good this place.

Food is lovely but the portion size has gone so small.. hardly anything there... got fish and chips had about 15 chips
