Very frindly staff & fancy dinein Indian restaurant. We loved the quality & taste of food. Bit expensive but overall its worth it. Must try if you are around Manchester!!
This is my favourite spot for amazing Indian food, it’s so good we’ve been several times for my birthday dinner and bring relatives here when they come to visit. We’ve been eating here for over a decade now and the food seems to get even more delicious every time we eat there. I LOVE the special paneer curry, I would eat it every day if i could. Not only is the food amazing and well worth the money, the waiters are always so wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Would recommend everybody go check this place out!
Been here a few times over the years and the food is consistently excellent and the same was true on this occasion. We popped in early evening, mid-week and the restaurant was quiet with only a few covers. The decor is filled with green and purple hues and is well maintained. The tables are clean with none of the often found tack you get these days. The crokery is plain white, which I personally love, and everything is well presented. Place settings are laid out properly, the only down side are the paper napkins which rather spoil the quality and the lack of table cloth. This creates a rather canteen like effect. The food arrived speedily and was piping hot. Presentation was simple and could be more appealing but the the dishes and tastes were sublime. Bengal style with no colourings and all fresh. We had the Coriander Special Chicken and a Lamb offering whose name I forget, rice and plain naan. This was around £30 so be aware the price are mid range. Parking is atrocious so be prepared to walk.
Really good quality traditional curry house. Recommend if you're looking for somewhere that can take a big group - we booked for around 20 people about a week in advance and they set up a private room for us meaning we could mingle without annoying the other guests, and service was great, friendly and thorough.
Good portions for the price - I had the fish tikka with a naan and that was plenty without needing to order starter/extra sides. Fish was lovely - big meaty chunks and perfectly cooked.
What an unexpected find!!
Wanted to have a sit down meal at 9:30pm on a weekday and they were still open.
Starters were beautifully presented.
Accompaniment for the poppadoms were not bog standard.
Mains were delicious (not oily or greasy).
Portions smaller than normal Indian cuisine; but quality over quantity.
Price wise- higher than average. Mains around £10-14 (without rice/bread) depending on what you order.
Good recommendations from the staff- they knew their dishes/menu well.
Service was impeccable- wasn't made to feel rushed despite leaving 5 minutes after their closing time.
Will definitely come again.
indian restaurant. tasty and colorful dishes well served with rice as side. particularly good the chicken madras but also paneer and aubergine was delightful. I will take the opportunity to come back when I can.
I come back, still positive, tried lamb rosti. Not bed, but it is still better the chicken madras. tried also a carrot base dessert. Nice, but Indian friend said not exactly how it should be
Eaten here a few times and had a take away too - always very helpful and friendly staff and the food is really tasty and good quality.
A frequent c customer. Polite and welcoming staff. Delicious food. The only reason not 5 stars is because last time our food was so spicy we couldn't eat it. They kindly remade our order but unfortunately our taste buds couldn't enjoy the food after that so I feel like it was a waste of money in that case. Just so it's clear, this was a one time thing. Every other meal we've had there was perfect. Will definitely go again.
Yesterday tried the new vegetable curry amongst other food. It was delicious as usual. Highly recommend it. Coriander never fails all dishes superb😋
