The wait is a little long to get served the food (approx 40 minutes) however, this is worth every second. Food is very flavoursome, hearty and big portions for what you pay. Everything is well made, seasoned and fresh. The baller’s combo was £25 at the time of this review and is almost big enough for 2 people.
So tasty! I parked around the corner clapped this quick & was ready to go back and buy more. The only thing that stopped me was the fact I had a long drive back to Notts. Overall it’s worth the money and I wish there was one open in Nottingham
This place is in high demand. The wait time can be a bit much but it’s definitely worth the wait because the quality of the food is amazing. Travelled all the way from London just to get the taste of real seafood.
The Lobster tail is the better option than the crab legs in my opinion. Crab legs was a bit too spicy and salty and a little bit of a hassle to eat. And I was way too hungry to go through that hassle.
I had the lobster tail, bang bang prawns, mac & cheese and waffles. DELICIOUS!!!
I just wish it wasn’t just a take away spot because the amount of time I spent waiting on my food was long since I had to stand. I didn’t have a car so that definitely wasn’t a comfortable wait.
All in all, I can’t really fault the place because the food has me wanting more n more.
The food i got tasted great, i went with 2 other friends and we were all shocked by the food to be honest, it tasted amazing, fresh and above all cheap i would say for lobster and crab which is what we got.
The meat was very good on all our dishes, definitely recommend on my book.

It's a bit of a luck of the draw place in that you could be there and gone in 20 mins, or you could be waiting with 10 others for 1-2hrs.
That said, Friday is my favourite menu day (every day is a different menu) and I've gone and treated myself here at least once a month for the last 6 months because I absolutely love the meal I get (the bang bang prawns are sooooo good) and consider it worth the wait. I only live down the road too which is a bonus.
It would probably be good for the business to invest in a shorter wait time.
Customer service is top notch. You're greeted with wide smiles by their staff. After placing your order, you retire to your car and chill. Your order will be delivered to your car once it's ready. Their lobster tail and prawns are quite tasty (pictured).
Very tasty food, good service and reasonably priced. Only downside, it’s a takeaway service and I had to wait over an hour. Plan and order ahead and it’s one I can recommend trying.
Always top notch food with ever-changing menu! Don’t get put off by these beautiful cinnamon waffles being in the same box as the rest of your meal, it blends in really well! The tiger prawns are amazing and salmon has some divine seasoning, although not too soft.
I ordered the ballers combo during my stay In Manchester. I’m not a seafood fan but after hearing positive reviews of Trap Kitchen I decided to try something new. Had the prawns and lobster tail and they were nice in flavour; still don’t think seafood is for me though. I wasn’t a fan of the bbq chicken, wasn’t anything special. The Mac and Cheese as well as Oreo waffles were very nice however! Presentation was also great. I’d definitely say it’s more on the pricey side.
