I have been to Mahbub many times and it has never disappointed me. We normally order sasg gosht (lamb in spinach), chicken karahi, fish tikka and chicken tikka along with pilau rice and garlic naan for our sides. Those are my favourites but I am sure all dishes are brilliant. The only slight issue is that they don't deliver, but amazing food, brilliant prices and friendly service easily make up for that.

Ordered a chicken tikka jalfrezi, chicken tikka karola, doner kebab and veg rice.
Pros - tasty, good value for money, doner kebab was amazing and the Nan bread was a good size and food so fresh.
Cons - pieces of chicken in the karola were cut so small, they need to be bigger also jalfrezi chicken tikka had about 5 pieces of chicken and a load of onions, more chicken needed in both curries.
Overall I’d recommend this place it’s an amazing place and the food is lovely (more chicken in dishes and chicken cut a decent size and you’d get a solid 5*) They also took note of my comments regarding my food preferences and gave us free starters. (I’m the famous words of Arnold, “I’ll be back”.

This is one of the most Authentic Quality Traditional food take aways I ever ate from, beautiful & fragrant foods. Excellent choices and a huge menu that the Chefs love to show their abilities in their food skills. 100% value for money and enough to share. Enjoy! 🙏

Really pleased with the whole order. Food was very tasty (4 different dishes plus starters) and really warm (incl. the chapatis).
Delivery was faster than the estimate given online and the delivery man was very pleasant.

I have been using the Mahbub since they opened 25 years ago. The food has been consistently authentic and delicious… I have never had a bad experience in all of this time which is definitely some testament. Always great customer service from Amir and his team, they have a really comprehensive menu but nothing is too much trouble if you ask for something different and not only do they cater for this but they care enough to remember for next time.

Always the Best Indian food in the whole area, excellent Vegetarian and Meat dishes of the highest quality. They only using Chicken breast meat to ensure the best quality, most places use chicken leg which is far more fatty. Excellent staff who are alwayspolite and friendly. Definitely 5 stars.
