North Star Deli is clearly a little Greek oasis in C-c-H. Judging by the customers speaking Greek, it’s a hit with the diaspora too. We wandered in around lunchtime and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The kitchen was busy and full of the sounds of cooking. The menu is quite long but we went for Greek / Greek inspired dishes and were not disappointed. Chicken Souvlaki with flat bread, grilled Hallomi with chilli jam and Melitzanosalata (grilled aubergine/ think Babganoush). Delicious. They are hosting a Greek music night with dinner - we’ll be there.

Definitely one of the best spots for a quick lunch and a coffee in Chorlton. Food is delicious and portion sizes are large. Staff are dead friendly and has plenty of seating with a great atmosphere

Wondered in here after a long train from Lancaster. First thoughts were I didn’t realise the venue was so stunning. Ordered a Baklava and a flat white to start.. fresh cinnamon with pastry obviously made that morning and high quality honey. Then finished off with pork gyros.. it was all really lovely and portion sizes were perfect. The guy on the till was exceptional at his job, always smiling, friendly to everyone who walked through the door, offering suggestions when asked, nice with kids. All in all.. lovely meal, Chorlton’s brunch spots are better than towns for sure!
