Love this coffee shop! Proper chilled vibes so it's a great place to do some reading or work. It's all volunteer run and all the staff seem to be having a great time together behind the counter which is always a good sign.

Coffee and community... The Anchorprovides a safe and warm welcome to all who stop by a silky smooth cappuccino that is grounded perfectly to give intense aroma. A few cakes to die for and always a friendly smile.

Surprising place, the tiny frontage and equally small entrance area turns into a huge extended dining area at the back. Great bagels for lunch. I had a cream cheese with smoked bacon. Very nice.

A must visit for anyone looking for a quick bite to eat and a good cup of coffee. Service is quick due to a limited menu but still manages to cater for all, making it a great stop for lunch. Am yet to find a soup I dislike therefore a recommended addition to any bagel. Coffee is also pulled to perfection. Highly recommended.

Delicious almond milk cuban coffee served here. Good location (the only decent cafe in the area and the Whitworth Park and Gallery are just opposite!), relatively friendly staff, shame it's not open weekends but still good. Worth visiting.

Really good coffee and food. Also nice place to study and relax. However, the Wi-Fi is so bad that you can assume they don't have one. You will also have bad signal on your phone so 4G also doesn't work. Therefore it is a nice place but leaves you with no internet connection.

Fabulous coffee shop directly next to Whitworth Park, south Manchester. The coffee and bagel were both delicious. A highly recommended venue with a Christian ethos.

This is a clean, tidy coffee house with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The menu is not over complicated and the food served is delicious. It is close to the Whitworth which makes it great for sitting down after a browse round the art and the hustle of Manchester city center. The waffles here are to die for.

A humble little coffee shop that delivers. When you look at the place from the outside it doesnt boast an extravagant marketing gimmick. Yet the warmth and the lovely ambience reveals your heart with caffeine and joyous. They even have patio in the backyard for an outdoorsy experience.
You can never go wrong with whatever you choose from the menu. But if i have to pick favourite, then salmon bagel it is. This is undoubtedly the best coffee shop outside city center in Manchester!
