On recommendation took some friends visiting from Grantham for Sunday lunch today. There were 6 of us and every single one of us agreed our lunch was probably one of the best we have ever had. Absolutely delicious, great friendly service and will definitely be going in again. xxx
Always have amazing service and food from here. Midweek they do 50% off all food and 2 for 1 cocktails. Amazing value for money. The older gentleman and the girl with curly hair are always lovely.
Stopped in for afternoon lunch and what a great find! Must try their seafood pie - such a flaky crust and seafood and sauce was great. It came with a choice of potato and peas. Thought I had mushy peas coming but received the garden peas, but received a separate side of mushy on the side!
Popped in today for a cold drink on a hot day and wished we hadn't already had breakfast as it smelled delicious!
The bar man was friendly and helpful, sorting the key for the disabled loo as mine was hiding in the bottom of my bag.
Really nice place, so glad we popped in.
Great place for chilling good selection of beers, never ate here but the food looked very nice so did the cocktails.
My husband and I have worked out of this cafe multiple times and the service and ambiance is just perfect. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. Thank you to the management for letting us work here, talk through meetings for hours whilst enjoying delicious food.
Tip: Mondays and Tuesdays are 50% off on the bill …so best days to come ;)
We often go into Manchester for lunch on Tuesday and always to the High St Tavern. Food is always very good and service friendly. Tuesday lunch time is quiet but that suits us well. Prices are very competitive and we'll certainly be going back.
It's a hidden gem...food comes so quick! This is my third time going and food always comes fast, Monday and Tuesday is 50% off so its soo cheap and 100% worth it. The place is spotless with very friendly staff and boardgames which I love as well as good music. The pizzas are so stringy and the club and pork sandwiches are all good there. Steak a lil too chewy for me but still not bad...ask for desserts as they do do them and the brownie with ice cream is very good but they don't seem to have a menu for it.
Fantastic food. The Sunday lunch was amazing and the staff were lovely and inviting. It has a Quirky interior and even a board game corner to amuse you while you wait for your food. I thoroughly loved it and would definitely back!
Called in on Saturday morning for breakfast, staff extremely attentive from the start, super friendly. The waitress took our order and the drinks were brought over straight away, quickly followed by the breakfast. It was delicious, really fresh. It was reasonably priced too. We will definitely be going back 😀
Walked past this restaurant on a Monday, just happened to eat here on a Tuesday before the Man City game and it was 1/2 off food! Excellent food and drink options.
