Not sure why they changed their name to something so overly convoluted, but Lord of the Pies, as I will continue to call it, is a great place to eat. The food is absolutely lovely, and I love the principle of 'good pie, good beer'. Its all you need! It's also well worth nipping in for a takeaway pie, lovely heated up a couple of days later. :)

The pies and mash are delicious. The only downside is that there isn't any variety in veg, only mushy peas and red cabbage. But very reasonable prices.

Fantastic food. The vegan pie was delicious and it's well underpriced for the quality of the food! Plus they do take out in case you fancy taking any extra pies home with you :-)

So good. I had the cheese and onion pie and the cheesy mash. It sounds like a lot of cheese but I don't regret it for a second. Highly recommend.

Great tasting pie. Had the beef and blue cheese. Portions are very filling and there’s two good Thornbridge beers on tap. Totally agree with the review I read which describes it as stylish but not hipster and formal but but stuffy. Reasonable prices with a real on between midday and 6pm for beer, pie, mash and gravy for £11.75. Takeaway seems really popular.
