The Club House is great. Afternoon Tea was lovely
Lovely course which is forgiving for us average golfers but still challenging enough to keep it interesting. Greens are always immaculate and course always well kept. Staff are really nice and friendly. Definitely recommend
An Unexpected Gem - I've played this course for over 8 years in the evenings after work and watch it develop beyond expectations.
The fairways are well kept and the greens well managed (even with the odd idiot that won't repair their marks) certainly on a par with some of the major courses in the UK!!
It looks easy and the fairways are usually very wide & the greens look like a doddle (very few bunkers) then your ball hits the edge and bounce off - because they are often raised. Miss by 1 metre and watch your ball travel 20+ away and into the rough.
The club house is really good and the staff an absolute treat.
I will miss this course !
Considering this was not so long back a working field, the owners have done a remarkable job and is becoming a nice little course. Ive enjoyed this course a few times. No complaints wi t h a nice meal afterwards.
The Sheltered accommodation Residents from Mosley Common had a fabulous Christmas party at Boysnope. We enjoyed the food, entertainment and the people who served the meal were lovely. We would like to thank them.
.
Have played Boysnope many times and recently joined as a full member. It is a good course for those new to golf or with a mid to high handicap. Wide fairways and most greens are without any guarding bunkers, the bunkers that are around are generally easy to get out of. I think the course needs some more water traps and definitely needs work on the location and difficulty of the bunkers (the fairway bunkers have higher 'lips' than some of the greenside ones, meaning you can't use a long iron out of them). The drainage on the course is mostly excellent, unlike Worsley's, which is shocking.
The clubhouse is lovely, the food is very nice and the staff are very friendly making the whole experience very pleasant.
Well know golf club in the area. Such a huge pity the land has been bought out for profit. The local community looks like it'll be losing a fantastic golfing asset. Once again greed outbids what's needed for a whole community.
Splendid local 18 hole course with a good clubhouse. Pity that Peel Holdings are shutting the course down to build houses on the green belt, not got planning permission yet or any thought on community or impact on services.
Mothers day menu. Thick cut roast beef and tender chicken, plenty of gravy. Cookie dough cheesecake for dessert!
Nice and Flat for a beginner like me, took a while to get round, 6 hours approx, £10 for the round of 18, recommended
