Always enjoy the laidback atmosphere in here and friendly staff.Enjoyed a pint of Guinness £4.20 and as it was St Patrick's day some great live music from queen grace.
Nice little bar with lots of seating. Downstairs, upstairs, rear garden, rooftop terrace, then the front has a couple seats on the street. The staff are nice and the prices are okay. Rooftop beer garden has heatlamps and a TV and was empty every time I went which is good for a small group of friend
Really well kept ale and the outdoor seating at the front is a pure suntrap. Pizzas are excellent too!
Cracking little bar with friendly bar staff and quality beers. Highly recommend 👍
Great atmosphere, great beers and friendly staff
Nice little place to catch up with Friends. There's also a comfortable section. Restaurant above serves food, which they can bring down to the drinking area. That's also screens. Drinks are more reasonable than mainstream pubs.
Very nice place to relax and have a good ale or 2...
The kind of bar that you wish was just around the corner. Perfection.
Excellent beer nice bar but very noisy on the night
Fred’s Ale has a great selection of beers and ales. You can watch a lot of sports, rugby football, etc. At the first floor there’s Cibus Pizza, where you can find amazing sourdough pizza and great courses. It’s a very kid friendly place, I’ve been there many times with my toddler without a problem.
Good selection of real ales, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Could be cosier inside, however, the outdoor terrace is nice. Has screens to watch live sport. Pop up restaurant upstairs.
Good choice of beer, good price on them too Staff always nice :) 2.50 a pint on Thursday night on cask ales
Our favourite local! Staff are brilliant and the facilities are always clean. Great community feel. Amazing pop up Italian restaurant every Thursday-Sunday. Would highly recommend!
I ordered a bottle of Fernet Branca and was delighted with the extra gift of a little bottle of whisky that came with it. The emails and packaging were brilliant and I will definitely use them again. Highly recommended!
Fred's describes itself as part-bar, part-coffee shop and art gallery. Set over three floors it has facilities to show short films from local film-makers and an artwork display area. Neat yet narrow interior with a stylish bar set to left side, its size dictating that this is mostly for vertical dri
Always love going here, so many events to choose from! Live music, great beer, never any bother, and now serving some lovely food as well. Try a Thursday night out: £2.00 a pint on real ale! nice outdoor area's with heaters, TV's outside, and a great online duke box.... Handy for Levenshulme train s
Fred's ale had a completely different concept of drinks from Fred's and dinner menu from a separate kitchen (Italian). We enjoyed the vegan pizza, the special pasta, the panino and our drinks and had a fun filled time. Their calamari and garlic bread starters brought a very nice touch to kick of the
