Lovely building and atmosphere, you can tell it’s popular with students too. Only popped in for a pint but the food looked good and decent prices too. Open for breakfast as well.
Sunday Roast £10 for 1, or 2 for £15 - bargain!

The slow cook rib here is tender by far I have eaten in ManC! I normally don’t like ribs as it’s mainly dry or hard, but this place’s is good! The meatballs are juicy too! We also order banger kids meal but the sausage is not to our liking. Overall it’s a good lunch! There’s also daily deals to look out for.

Been here quite a few times now, always before a gig. Good beer and food, but could do with a wider selection of food. That being said, it will still frequent Kro-Bar.

Can be quite busy at times, but is a great place to grab a cheap bite. Went on a 2for1 burger day, which was nice, but didn’t include fries? Seems quite expensive if not with fries.

Nice bar, large space. Just opposite the Accadamy where we went to watch a band. Prices OK, and they topped the Guinness up after I asked them to as the head on it was an Inch thick. Nice enough though.

Only popped in briefly to meet up with friends before a gig.
But good range of drinks, readoble prices. Plenty of seating inside and out the back. Outside seating is covered but not all heated.
When we have more time would have a longer visit and have food. As from seeing what others had looked good.

Nice airy two-floor bar in the heart of University District. Nice food spotted on others' tables and a good selection of beers including Berliner pilsner.

We booked a table for a group of 10. This was upstairs, which was fine, but we had to go downstairs to order drinks and food at the bar which wasn't all that handy as we were seated on benches at a long table and Kro Bar was busy.
