I’ve been living in Manchester for 18 months and have been unable to find a decent chippy, until now that is. Been missing a good old fashioned chippy like back home (Liverpool). But this place is fantastic, best fish and chips I’ve had in ages. Will definitely be back, take cash if you can although you can pay by card.

The staff from NMGH treated themselves from here today. The food was perfect and hot on arrival. Good portion sizes. Thanks for the little tip regarding the price, unfortunately, if we move our cars we can't re-park.

Lovely homely chippie called in with my husband we both had fish and chips peas and curry sauce it was delicious really fresh and not one bit greasy .well worth the money

I had the Light Bites Fish, Chips & Peas Fish cooked to perfection, chips were crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside and the peas just made this the best chippy I have tasted for a long time. Reasonable price and the Staff were all lovely and friendly would definitely recommend

Great chips but ordered a muffin for dessert and they sent a buttered barm by mistake. These things happen I guess when busy.

Reasonable prices for very tasty fish and frites. The sour cream was great. The restaurant was full but the staff wasnt stressed at all and really kind. After we ate our servings, we kind of got kicked out even tho we would have drank one round more and our drinks weren‘t half through.

Absolutely lovely place. We have been treated so kind today :) extra crispy chips - our favourite. Lovely custard slice for dessert too! We will definitely come back even it’s not our closest fish & chips bar :)
