Really good range of beers, particularly all the Deyas on draught, plus cycle parking out the front!
Didn't eat but great beers, lovely surroundings and a good overall vibe about the place. Weekend? Get there!
Always a fabulous visit, great beers and always a lovely welcome
First time visit, found the back of the room quite foreboding but the staff behind the bar very friendly and helpful. My friend and I went in on his recommendation and as we were there at about 17.15 it was quite quiet for a Friday night. I imagine it would get very lively later on. Will return, goo
Great bar, good rotation of beers cask and keg. Plenty of seats outside and in. Dog friendly - always a bowl of water on offer as well as great beers for humans!
Excellent Mezcal Margherita's. Always friendly staff
Bar snacks- nuts/crisps Great beer selection
Good beer, friendly staff, decent food, good value.
So friendly! ❤ Very welcoming, lovely staff. Chilled and ambient decor. Both tables and cute little booths. Great range of beers. Interesting little cocktail menu... the salted caramel espresso martini is the best drink I ever tasted. Highly Recommend.
Enjoyed the trip here. Music was too loud to hold an easy conversation. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. No grapefruit juice though.
No food - it's a pub! Love it here.
Love this pub, great beers, great staff and fab venue
Great pub, nice service, good atmosphere. Good to know in advance that it doesn't do food. Gets very busy, very quickly on a Thursday summer evening. Great for after-work drinks.
A great local spot - one of the best in Whalley Range. Always a great selection of beer and a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
Still one of the best boozers in South Manchester. Solid range of keg and cask ales. Good takeout options. Nice staff. Dog friendly. Good place to slope off to with a paper. Decent outdoor seating. Very clean toilets. Nice mix of locals and occasionals. Snack range could be a lot better. Keg beers
All the beers, no nobs, enjoyable ambiance despite not being able to hear a word my friends were saying all night. Add some soft furnishings at the back please to dampen down the overwhelming background noise. Also do away with the table service, takes 20 mins to get your first drink and can never s
Quite quaintly noble establishment. Lacking jazz for YEARS! Deliciously warm on a fresh February eve. Must emphasise the LACK thereof jazz.
Good little neighbourhood boozer. Always get good pint of real ale - always we'll kept and tasting its best. Cask marque. Good snacks, nice outdoor seating area. Jazz on Sundays. Can get a bit cliquey. Staff know their beer well enough. Good whiskey selection too. Still go every now and then, but no
